Daddy was mad about something, it was clear. I stuck my ear to the door and listened.

"Yes you do." Daddy said. "Elizabeth Reed."

"No!" Frank banged his hand on the armrest. His chair had all different animals carved into it.

"Yes!" Daddy demanded. "With Marian Reed!"

"It's okay Frank," Hazel said. "Everything's okay. I'm not mad, and Jason isn't too mad."

"Yeah Frank," Mama said. "We all have been in your shoes. Except Jason."

Then a door opened and shut.

"I'm done!" Percy said proudly.

"Congrats," Frank said.

"What did I miss?" Percy asked excitedly.

"Demigods!" Mama exclaimed. "All of us have some. Not Jason though."

"Everyone?" Percy asked, and you could feel the tension in the room. "Everyone?"

"Percy, I'm-" Annabeth tried to say.

"No." Percy interrupted. "How could you?"

"I mean-"

"No. Annabeth, we're done." Percy huffs and I hear a door slam. Wow. He must be mad.

"I'm sorry Percy," Mama muttered. "I'm sorry. I just shipped Daveabeth!"

"Dave and I shouldn't have a ship name." Annabeth said.

"Well, you know what? Get out!" Daddy yelled.

"What? No! I will-"

"You are dismissed Annabeth." Daddy said calmly.

"Fine." Annabeth opened the door that I was listening from, and she gasped, and pushed me in.

I've always liked Annabeth. It's just... I don't know. I just really like her.

"Serenity." She says. "Do not listen to that anymore. Your only seven." Because I'm a goddess, I can change shape. Right now I'm a twenty year old woman with pretty black hair and dark brown eyes.

"Come." Annabeth said, and I followed her into her part of the house.

Her part had big paintings of the ocean.

"Percy made these."

"Percy? When?" I ask, clearly puzzled. She turns at me and smiled.

"A year ago." Annabeth said, "Before he died.
