Melting his Frozen Heart

Part 2~ First day

I walk into the main room and over to my seat.  I wasn't allowed to work today due to the fact that Loki was arriving in a few hours.  I slip my earbuds in and blast ac/dc. 
I was humming along to Highway to Hell when Steve walked over tapped my shoulder.  I looked and sighed, " yes, Steve?"
"He will be here soon.  How do we know that you can handle him?" He asks,  getting the attention of everyone.  I smirk at Natasha and Clint. 
"Follow me," I say and walk off to the main target practice room.  All the Avengers and a few other people follow.  As I arrive at the room,  I make my hair turn to green flame.  Everyone except Natasha and Clint looks surprised.  I throw a ball of fire at a practice dummy and I make it turn to ice as it hits it. It freezes the dummy.  I then make lightning shoot from my finger and shatter the dummy.  The ice melts to water and I make all the water move up into a ball of water that I shape into a crown.  I then look at one of the workers that followed and start using my pathokinesis and he starts crying and then laughing. I then stop and look at Steve, "I have handled far worse than a simple scrawny god. I pretty sure he will be a lot easier than an entire army. I know what I'm doing," I say and walk out. 

*2 hours later* 

It is almost noon and Loki should be arriving in a few minutes. I am waiting in my room with my puppy, Teseract. As I was about to walk to the main room I hear my dad through the intercom," Report to the main room for Loki's arrival," 

I run there and quickly get to the corner of the room. I have to make sure no one is in my spot. I am kind of an outsider if you haven't noticed. Within seconds, Thor and Loki walk in. Loki is in chains and a muzzle. I sigh. If they treat him like a monster, he will respond like a monster. 

"Loki, you are here only by Thor's request. If you so much as damage a single creature on this wor-" Dad starts.

"Enough!" I say. "If you keep him chained up like a monster, he will become a monster. He knows what will happen. He isn't stupid. If you want him to behave, treat him like he's your equal. Or at least equal to Thor, or Hulk, or Banner. Or even fucking my puppy. You are treating him like a child who just threw a fit in a store. I would know," 

Everyone looked shocked. I look annoyed. Dad sighed. "Unchain and muzzle him. She's right," I smirk. Thor did as he was told. He first broke the chains off and then undid the muzzle. 

Loki smiled," At least someone here has some sense," he said, "And you are?" 

Before I could speak, Dad cut in," She's the one who is in charge of watching you. You will obey her every command," 

"I believe he was asking my name," I sass," Rubina Fury. You can call me Ruby or Agent Fury," I say to Loki. 

"I'm being watched by a mortal girl?" he says. His tone is more surprised than insulted or judgemental.

"More like by a freak," Agent Thompson says. Thompson has this idea that I should be locked up like an animal. I look at him, so does everyone else, and I cause his clothes to catch on fire then turn to water so he is left in his boxer. And they were pink boxers with hearts on them. Everyone laughs, well except him. He runs off. 

"Ruby! Enough!" Dad yells. 

"You have powers?" Loki says as he steps slowly closer to me, only to be stopped by Fury. I roll my eyes. 

"Fury, I am pretty sure he is my responsibility now. I am also positive that it is time for lunch," I say as I walk forward and pull Loki with me out of that room. Everyone was staring at him like he was a monster, "So Loki, as you've heard, I am in charge of keeping you out of trouble,"

"What is your job here?" he asks.

"I am a mechanic and an assassin if I have to be. And the occasional mission leader. You will only be allowed to be a mechanic. So first... we must test your strength. Or would you rather eat first?"

"Lunch would be nice,"
