He kissed me! We are kissing. I am kissing back. I am kissing a fucking god!!!

When we both pull away, I am blushing, smiling and giggling.

"You are way too adorable to be mortal," he says. I blush even more.

"Thanks, I guess," I laugh. He pulls me closer to him smirking down at me.

He then chuckles, "You know... you really are something special."

I laugh, "I know." The water around the ship turns to a bunch of water butterflies and the fly up into the air before crashing back into the ocean. He laughs.

The intercom comes on with sirens that signal when we are going into the air. Loki and I as we well as the few workers outside go inside. Loki and I go to our rooms. Loki goes to his room after winking at me. I was nearly dying at the thought. I collapse onto my bed with a sigh.

I grab my book and go back to reading while I think about what just happened.

A god... Just kissed me!

I finished the book before I fell asleep.

The Next Morning

I was in the workshop really early, trying to figure out why the tank wasn't starting. I had taken the cover off and found a wire disconnected.

Then everyone walked in causing me to look up.

"Ruby, Darling!" Tony calls.

"Tony, Fuck off!" I call in the same tone.

Nat helps me off the tank while laughing, "Where's prince uncharming?"

I laugh and shrug, "I woke up and came here. I needed to fix a tank before I went insane."

Thor looks concerned but then we hear the door open. Loki walks in. "Brother!"

"What?" Loki asks as he walks down.

"Where have you been?" he asks.

"Asleep?" he says. I smirk at him wearing normal clothes.

"Oooh! What's that?!" Tony asks looking at my siren. I send a shock of lighting at Tony's ass making him jump.

"It's mine. Don't touch it, slut," I smirked. I get a text from 'Stupid Slut #4 (Clingy)' aka Jane.

SS#4: Is Thor back? I heard Loki was on Earth!? Why is he here? Why hasn't Thor come to see me?

Ruby: Loki's my new best friend.

SS#4: That doesn't answer any of my questions!?!!?!

Ruby: Tell Darcy.

Less than a minute later I get a call from 'Baby Momma' aka Darcy.

"Hey, Darcy!" I say.

"Why have I been replaced?! What has he done that I haven't done better?! Why don't you love me anymore!?"She says, fake crying.

"You let your friend complain about her boy problems to me. It isn't my problem Thor doesn't care to go to the middle of nowhere to see her," I say before looking at Thor, "This isn't about you, sweetie. Ignore us."

"Is Thor there? Is Loki there!!!??? Where are you!?" Darcy says.

"I'm on the helicarrier. Want me to send a copter to get you?" I ask.

"Yeah, bitch," Darcy says. I laugh.

"I'll text you when it's on the way."

"Bye, bitch!" she says.

"Bye, baby momma!" I say and hang up. I get back to work after texting my dad to send a helicopter to get them.

Loki sits in a seat at the desk and watches as I reconnected the wire.

Nat and Clint start playing with the weapons I had on my desk before they were all called out to get back to work. Leaving me alone with Loki and the rest of my team. Loki leans on the tank, "What are you doing?"

"Fixing the circuits," I smile at him.

"Need any help?" he asks, knowing I'll say no.

"Oh, because you know how to fix this shit?" I smirk.

He laughs, "Well, no. But I can act like I do."

I laugh, "I do need help. Help me out," I reply and he takes my hand, helping me out so I don't fall... again.

I closed the tank and told William to make sure it started while I grabbed the jacket I was given when I started getting paid here.

The room was freezing to accommodate for the fact that the Siren has an ice feature that was at risk for exploding. I walked over to it and opened to the main area. Loki looked amazed at the technology. I slipped in and looked at the stuff.

"You made this?" he asked in total awe.

I look back at him and nod, "I was bored so I designed this. Still has a few problems but overall, I'm in love with it."

"Oh, really? In love with it, huh?" he says. I turn away, blushing as I remember yesterday. "Don't turn away from me," he says, his voice low and kind of attractive.

"I can do what I please," I say, smirking as I glance at him on the reflective metal of the siren.

"Is that so? Can you stop blushing?" he smirks. I flip him off as I smile. He looked around and saw that no one was watching us and the cameras couldn't see us from here. He pulled me towards him and kissed me. I kissed back and he relaxed slightly, moving his hand to my waist as my hand goes to play in his hair. He smiles into the kiss. We hear someone walking over and we pull apart.

"Ruby! The tank is functional but the ac isn't," William calls from the corner.

"I'll get to it as soon as I fix this," I say and he nods, walking away. I look back at Loki as I fall back against the interior of the siren, across from the side door. He smiles at me as I smile at him.

"Aren't you supposed to be fixing this thing?" he smirks.

"Aren't you supposed to help?" I smirk back. I pull him in, letting the door close behind him. We go back to kissing almost instantly.

Once we pull apart, we sit on opposite sides of the siren with our legs going between each other. "Ruby, we met like... yesterday."

"You got a point or just reminding me?" I say.

"I killed thousands," he says, "And yet, you aren't afraid of me."

I smile, "Funny how stupidly fearless I am isn't it?"

He smiles, "Ruby, I really like you."

"Wow, I wonder how I ever would have figured that out without you telling me," I say sarcastically. He rolls his eyes as he looks kind of... embarrassed. I smile "If I didn't like you, I wouldn't let you in the Siren."

He smiles and someone knocks on the door. I grab a cup of jello from the minifridge as I say 'It's open'. Nat opens the door and looks at us.

"I thought you two were supposed to be working?" she says.

"Jell-o," I say as I take a bite.

She rolls her eyes, "Your dad says you need to stay within view of the cameras."

"Stalker," I say and she laughs. "I can't fix the inside of a tank in view of the cameras. Plus, since I have to teach Loki how to not be worthless, he has to help me by watching."

She nods, "Don't argue with me. Argue with him."

"Meh. He likes you more," I say. She leaves, closing the door again.

"You are kind of a smartass, you know?" he says.

I laugh, "Oh, you don't know the half of it. I was given an award last year for being the smartest smartass to ever smartass an ass."  He laughs.
