MILEY
i stared up at the full moon and remembered Grayson. i've always done that. it brought me tears. it brought me laughter. joy. sadness. it brought me everything. even the forbidden memories.
i looked towards the fence, where he once use to skate by every day and i saw a shadow. not any shadow.
as i took a few steps closer, i realized what it was.
is it possible? i wondered. that grayson has come back?
he seemed to be looking in my direction and froze.
for a few seconds, i thought i was seeing things until he started to move closer.
"grayson?" i muttered.
i ignored the fears of what the future may hold and ran towards him.
he slowly walked in my direction and i could see the smile creep up on his face.
i couldn't help myself. the second he said my name, i was running into his arms and he was holding me for the first time in years.
"miley..." he murmured again.
"grayson..." i didn't realize i was crying.
he sat me down and held my face in the palm of his hands. "it's been so long. i'm so sorry."
i shook my head. "it's not your fault."
he smiled and for what seemed like the first time, he kissed me.
i pulled away and stared into his beautiful hazel eyes, somehow getting lost in them again.
"tell me the truth..."
i whispered, holding his hand.
he gripped onto it tightly. "you're forever mine."
i smiled as our lips met again. and finally, for the first time in years. no. for the first time ever. i felt as if we would never ever be apart again..
