*this is my first story on here so if it's not every good my apologizes just read and try to enjoy:)*

As I passed him in the hall my eyes shifted to him out of habit. When our eyes met my heart started hammering in my chest and my breath caught in my throat. He jerk his head back to the way he was walking and went back to pretending I wasn't there.

Tanner Newton is my ex boyfriend and to say it didn't end well would be a major understatement. The worst part about it is, I broke up with him and I'm the one caught up on him.

I looked back over my shoulder and saw him flick his blond hair to the right as if he knew I was looking at him. I turned back around and pictured his warm chocolate eyes and his blond hair falling into them.

It was actually a weird relationship from the start of it. Tanner is a year older than me which makes him sixteen. I know what you're thinking and no I didn't just date him just because he could drive. I'm fifteen with shoulder length light brown hair with natural blond highlights and light brown eyes that if you keep looking into them you can see they have green around the iris. It's kind of weird but I get complimented on them a lot.

I reached my locker and started putting in my combination. "Natalie Banks!" I heard someone yelling.

I turned to see my best friend running towards me, Tiffany Jones, "Hey Tiffany what's with the yelling nobody is out here anyways their all at the gym." I said closing my locker.

"I know that is why I am yelling at you. Hurry up so we can sit beside Nate and Ethan." she said looking around impatiently.

I closed my locker and grabbed her hand dragging her to the gym. Today was a free day for the high school. Something about being good students this year, I don't know honestly I was asleep during that announcement.

We walked into the gym and started looking for the guys. "Natalie! Tiffany!" I looked up and saw Nate waving his hands above his head and screaming at us.

I felt my face flush with embarrassment because everybody started staring at us and Nate who was still screaming like a crazy man. I started walking up the bleachers to where he and my cousin, Ethan Peters was sitting. They sat second from the top and I was kind of nervous I fall very easily and if I fell off this it would hurt bad.

"Goodness Nate could you possible draw more attention to us." I said looking behind us at the people still staring. I saw a familiar blond head and turned back around quickly.

"Natalie didn't get embarrassed did she?" he asked poking my sides making me giggle.

"Nah of course not everybody already knows how insane you are." I poked his sides back making him scream like a girl causing more people to stare at us.

I started laughing and heard the principle start talking into a microphone explaining what we was and wasn't suppose to do.

As soon as I turned to face the principle I felt somebody pulling my hair. I chose to ignore it knowing if I turned he would jerk it. He pulled my hair harder and harder the more I tried to ignore him.

"What do you want Nate?" I asked gritting my teeth.

"Oh I just wanted to say Hi."

I turned to him slowly with an angry expression on my face. As I saw him he had an innocent looking expression and batted his eyelashes at me. "Love you Nat."

I laughed. "I love you too NAT."

He quit teasing me after that and started making fun of random people sitting close to us. "Look at the sexy sprinkler over there." he said pointing at a girl towards his right.

"Sprinkler?" I asked suspiciously.

"Yeah when you talk to her it's like standing on my lawn at 5' o clock in the morning."

"What happens at you're house at 5?"

"I pee out my window because I'm to lazy to walk to the bathroom. My mom caught me one time and asked what I was doing...I just told her the lawn looked a little dry and I thought it needed to be watered.

I burst out laughing while looking at his serious face. If I didn't know Nate better I would have sworn he was serious, but Nate was pretty shy about his body so he would never done that.

I started wiping my tears away from the corner of my eyes and Nate grabbed my head and pulled it into his rock hard chest. "I promise you I won't let those people come after you again." Nate screamed. He pulled me away and looked straight into my eyes. "You're not crazy you just are misunderstood." he pulled me back into his chest and I started laughing.

"You are terrible." said pushing him away.

He chuckled, "I know but I entertain you." he said smiling.

"Yes you do." I said returning his smile.
