Iron Banner Oneshots

Hey buddy

This is when Wanda did the thing to Bruce and Hulk was trashing the city.

No POV

Tony flew above the city as he searched for Bruce. He saw a green shape and instantly flew toward it. He hovered just above the ground. Hulk picked up a car and threw it around like a toy.

"Hey, Big guy."

Hulk stopped and turned to the familiar robotic voice.

"It's okay, nobody's gonna hurt you."

The Hulk roared and tried to grab Tony that dodged his attacks swiftly.

"Hulk, stop, I don't want to hurt you!"

He didn't stop but instead moved to smash pieces of concrete that were laying nearby. Tony sighed and flew near him.

"Hulk."

Nothing.

"Banner."

Hulk turned around and lifted his fists, smashing just in front of Tony. Tony lifted his arms in front of himself in a harmless gesture and slowly backed up.

"Easy...easy..."

The Hulk roared in his face and was ready to tackle him when Tony stepped out of his suit.

He lifted his hands again.

"Hey buddy."

He let out a sound of a wounded animal and backed up a bit, roaring again.

"Bruce...?"

He slowly walked forward and stopped when he was under him. Hulk puffed out air and made a small sound.

Tony reached up and cupped his face. He traced over the lines with his fingers and made his way to his hair.

He patted it and ran his hand through it. The Hulk let out a soft growl and bowed his head closer to Tony. He reached with his other hand and rubbed his head.

"Come on Bruce..."

He whispered as he ran his hand down his neck and shoulders.

Hulk started shrinking.

"There you go..."

He was back to normal again and stayed in Tony's arms as he shook from the sudden cold. Silent tears ran down his face as he looked up at Tony and then around at what he had done.

Tony cupped his face and turned his head to look at him.

"Hey, Bruce. Just look at me, it's okay...it's over now..."

He hugged him again and rubbed his back. Tony kissed his hair and left his face in it.

"It's alright..."
