Chapter VIII A paradox is revealed

"Makail, Makail wake up." Hazel said shaking him.

"Ow my head, did I pass out?" Makail asked looking at her holding the back of his head.

"Yeah you did?" Hazel respond. "What happened?"

"I think I should leave, it's close to an event but I don't remember what."

"What do you mean Makail?" Hazel asked worry creeping into her voice.

"I'll be fine I'm sure of it but just so you know how long it's been take this." Makail explained pulling out a tablet with moving digits. "This is the current time outside of here."

"I hope your right." Hazel said hugging him tightly for a while but knowing she had to let go she receding her arms to her waist. "Be careful okay?"

"I will don't worry." Makail replied kissing her before walking out. She stood there stunned by what had happened but was still able to hold the tablet. Makail then recited a line of text as if it were a spell and then he disappeared.

....

The real world

It was currently night time when he appeared outside of the stone.

'Drath you there?" Makail asked rubbing his eyes getting a grip on his surroundings.

Yes I'm here Drath thought standing behind him. Certainly looks like your spell worked.

"I'm glad it did, in all aspects but we're about to go through a not pleasant time, I'm sure of it." Makail explained.

"What do you mean?" Drath asked his voice as rough as gravel.

"I'm sure you'll see." Makail replied before passing out landing on Drath.

...

Somewhere in the mind

Hopefully I'm not here for too long. Makail thought to himself.

"Don't worry you won't be someone said behind him." Makail then turned around and saw who it was.

"It's you!"

"Of course it's me who else would it be, Ragnarok?" The person asked the last part seeming extremely funny to them due to them laughing hard.

"Your not funny, but who are you exactly?"

"I'm you but I'm me, we are one, but we are separate, one is mind, but separate in body." The person explained seemingly bored near the end.

"Can't you just eat it in laminate terms."

"I'm your dark self, who else would I be, flippin idiot." the person answered mumbling the last part.

"Name please?"

"I am Mail!" Then they laughed for a little bit.

"Okay mail nice to meet you." Makail replied trying not to laugh.

"Wait! I meant! I AM KAIL!" Kail respond fixing his mistake.

"You know you don't have to yell."

"I'm putting emphasis on it, because i will take over you."

"Try me."

....

Back outside of the mind

"Where here Wrath you ready to set everything into motion?" Kail asked looking down at the once black dragon being a dark green.

"Why wouldn't I be, that Drath guy is still there but not a problem for us." Wrath responded.

The sky above them was a dark angry gray and below behind more clouds was a village. They then dove down and landed causing a wave of dust to well up and once it settled he could see all that where around him. His eyes settling on Makail of this time period but looked away before he noticed. Then someone from the crowd asked a question they seemed to be somewhat of an elderly woman. "Who are you?"

"I can be your friend or your enemy." Kail answered.

"What do you want us to do?" Someone else asked they were around the same age as the first person but was a man whose age showed a little more.

"To follow our new leader." Kail answered.

"Who is our new leader?" Asked a boy with a group of boys around them.

"Me." Kail answered looking at the group for a minute or two then focused his attention on everyone else.

"What if we refuse?" The man from earlier asked.

"Yeah, what if we refuse. "A person from the group of boys, they seemed to be the leader of the group.

"You don't have a choice." Kail said before taking out his bow shooting an arrow at the boy before they could react. The boy gripped his chest where the arrow protruded and before falling down he said you bastard how did you shoot so fast? He then fell face first laying eerily still.

"Who else refuses?" Kail asked, knowing the response and answer. The village broke into chaos before them villagers running to there dragon's flying off, Kail ignored this waiting to see Makail and his family fly into the distance.

"Well that parts done." Kail commented to himself before disappearing from the village. He then reappeared in front of Hildreth's base.

"Let's see if he is here Wrath."

"Would you wish for me to stay out here?" Wrath asked?

"Yes It'll be a quick drop off of information." Kail said before walking through the doorway. "Hildreth! I need to speak with you regarding a danger to you."

'What danger is this?" someone asked leaning on a wall.

"One that may cause your very death, Hildreth." Kail responded.

"Alright but first, how do you know my name." Hildreth asked suspicion written plainly on his face. "And how you knew where my base was."

"I have my ways.* Kail answered smirking in an unpleasant way.

"How can I be sure I can trust you?"

"Just look at my eyes."

Hildreth did so and observed them for at least a minute, he almost seemed to be trying to check his sanity. "They are filled with the want of power, just as mine do. So what is this danger?"

"A boy known as Makail has a dragon that is not like the others and I'm sure he'll tell you I don't know the color, but I do suggest that when the gateway to the Crosin opens you go into and grab the materials for Astatine. It's the rarest and strongest metal alchemy can create."

"Thank you I'll contact him when I find it fitting." Hildreth answered smiling his face almost becoming horrifying due to the evil almost rolling off of him.

I shall be off though work to be done. Kail said before walking away.

Wait one second, how did you know about all of that.

I'm from the future and I wish to change the past Kail lied knowing the truth. He then walked away. That should do it.

Who was that? a deep voice asked in Hildreth's head. "That was a person who will at one point become an ally Chaos."

Once Kail reached Wrath and got onto him they disappeared. "This will be fun." Kail said when they appeared on top of a building in the time period they left.
