Two months went by slowly Sasha and Ebony keeping in touch with Coulson and May on their mission. The two also took in the sites of New York.
The two sat on there small couch. With nothing to do Sasha was texting her parents as Ebony was probably on some form of social media.
Suddenly there was a loud bang. Ebony and Sasha jumped up simultaneously arming themselves. They opened the door moving towards the sound. They figured it came from Steve and Evelina's apartment. The two ran towards there apartment. Ebony kicked the door in running inside.
There Fury laid with two bullet wounds in his chest. Evelina and Steve were crowded around around him.
"Foxtrot is down I repeat Foxtrot is down."Ebony said. "Tell them I'm in pursuit." Steve called rushing out of the window with Sasha on his tail. The two chased after the dark figure jumping off of buildings.
Steve threw his shield at the figure who caught it with ease. Throwing it back. Sasha took this delay and charged at them. Though it didn't take long for the person to knock her unconscious.
The figure disappeared into the dark city leaving a distraught Captain America and an unconscious Sasha Barton. When the Captain finally snapped out of his trance he noticed the distraught pre-teen groaning in pain. He helped her up before the two made their way back toward the apartment.

Sasha walks over to the window and stares into the room Fury is being operated on. She'd just gotten out of a hospital room just to check for any signs of concussion.
"Is he going to make it?" She asks not taking her eyes off of the glass. "We don't know yet." Steve replied trying to remain calm. "Tell me about the shooter." Evelina demands in a surprisingly tranquil tone.
"He's fast and strong. Had a metal arm." Just then Agent Maria Hill also joins them. "Ballistics?" Evelina asks.
"Three slugs, no rifling. Completely untraceable." Sasha says with an unreadable expression. "Soviet made." Hill replied slightly under her breath.
"Yeah." Says Evelina. They all watch in shock as Fury's state deteriorates.
"He's in V-tach." Says a male nurse.
"Crash cart coming in." Calls a female nurse. "Nurse, help me with the drape." The doctor commands the female nurse. "BP is dropping." The male nurse informs. "Defibrillator!" The Doctor calls. Steve, Evelina, Sasha, and Hill watch in shock as Fury is flatlining.
"I want you to charge him at one hundred." Demands the doctor. The female nurse complies. "Don't do this to me, Nick." Evelina calls from under her breath.
"Stand back! Three, two, one. Clear!" As the doctor says these Fury is given a shock with the defibrillator. "Pulse?" The Doctor asks. "No pulse." The male doctor replies. "Okay. 200, please. Stand back! Three, two, one. Clear!" Fury is given another shock. "Give me epinephrine! Pulse?" The doctor asks after trying again.
"Negative." The male nurse replies with a deep frown. "Don't do this to me, Nick. Don't do this to me." Evelina pleads under her breath.
The four watch the doctors as they continue to attempt at reviving Fury but Fury is still showing as flatlining, Steve turns away as they finally call his time of death.
"What's the time?" The doctor asks. "It's 01:03 hours doctor." The female nurse replies. "Time of death, 1:03 a.m." The doctor pronounces. Sasha noticed Steve look down at something.
Sasha and Steve are in a room where Fury's dead body has been laid out, Evelina is looking at Fury's body with tears running down her face, Maria and Sasha join them.
"I need to take him." Hill Says. Steve goes over to Evelina. "Evelina." But she didn't respond instead she tenderly touches Fury's head then turns and walks out of the room. Steve turns to follow her. "Evelina!" He shouts picking up his pace.
"Why was Fury at the apartment?" Evelina asks. "I don't know." Steve replies. Sasha opens the door to leave overhearing some of their conversation. But they are interrupted by Rumlow. "Cap, Sasha they want you back at SHIELD." The two nod.
"Yeah, give me a second." Steve says waving Rumlow off. "They want you now." Rumlow says staring at the Captain. "Okay." Steven turns to Evelina.
"You're a terrible liar." With that she turns and walks away.
"Let's go." Sasha says before the three exit the hospital.
