Beth.

"Watcha doin?" Luke asked, drawing his voice as he played with the ruffled out creases of my bed comforter.

"Studying." I answered simply, paying attention to the next practice multiple choice question that appeared on my laptop screen. He huffed and I took a moment to look over at him, as he stared back at me, taking in the messy bun placed on top of my head, and the oversized sweater I was wearing that also so happened to be his that he had left here once.

He lifted himself up from the position at the foot of my bed and crawled over to me until he was nestled into my side, head buried beneath my left arm.

"We just got each other back and you're studying?" He mused, his words muffled by my shirt. The vibrations of his voice mixed with the heat from his breath tickled my sides slightly.

"As much as I just want to cuddle with you right now I still have to study. This is my last final!" I argued, laughing as he shook his head, nose nuzzling my side.

"What subject even is it?" He asked.

"English." I replied, clicking on correct answer for the question about Othello.

Luke groaned, leaning forward to shut my laptop screen. "Hey!" I yelled, trying to reopen it but Luke kept a firm hand pressed down on the lid somehow.

"No. No one even studies for English, you'll do fine, babe. Now please come lay down with me." He said, already stretching one of his long arms across the front of my shoulders and dragging me down with him.

"I guess." I huffed, pretending to be upset but I couldn't help the smile that started to spread across my lips. I had missed this so much.

"Don't lie. You know you want to cuddle with me." He laughed, leaning forward to bury his face into the side of my neck. I laughed as he playfully started to litter the exposed skin with little kisses.

"Oh goodness, we're ridiculous." I giggled, turning to him and falling into his chest, relaxing further as his arms wrapped around me.

"Crazy stupid. You and me." He smiled, pressing a kiss just below my ear.

"Hey, remember the first time we officially met?" I asked, pulling back a little to see the expression on his face.

He let out a loud laugh at the memory, pressing a hand up to his forhead as he kept his eyes closed.

"Oh goodness, yes. When was that? Winter break of our freshmen year was it?" He asked, looking down at me inquisitively. I nodded my head, placing my head back on his chest.

"Yeah, I remember that was my first time flying alone. I was terrified." I laughed, adjusting myself to be even closer to Luke.

This trip was already an absolute disaster. I had originally had a carry-on bag, not trusting to put it in the check-in baggage knowing how easily they could lose my suitcase. But of course, with my luck they had ran out of space in the top compartments on the plane, and therefore had to put my small suitcase last minute along with all the other checked-in baggage.

I hate flying.

I took a deep breath, trying not to show my fear as I followed the lady in front of me onto the plane. My eyes scanned the strangers on the plane, most of them already looking way used to this.
