FIFTEEN

-Soomi-

It was Tuesday and I don't know if it was just me or it seemed like the week was dragging by so slowly. Surprisingly, but thankfully, Jaehyun hasn't pulled any pranks on me. Well, yet anyway.

In other news, Yuna and her group of friends would always glare at me whenever we'd pass each other in the halls, and Hyungseo and Chanhee would pull me back from doing something stupid.

Last Saturday, the weekend the boys came over, Sangyeon made the 98 boys promise to always be with me, saying that they'd be his eyes, ears, and his 'hands'. In other words, to stop me from doing anything stupid.

I sighed as we were about to pass Yuna and her group once more, but this time, I was only with Hyungseo. He noticed her, and put his arm around me.

"Don't do anything." He said softly, only for me to hear.

As we passed by them, they snickered.

"So, Soomi," one of them called out, gaining the attention of others, "is Hyungseo your boyfriend now? I thought it would have been Jaehyun or Younghoon."

I scoffed as I stopped walking and looked at them. "What happened to the oppa? Decided to just drop it since you realized you have no chance with any of the boys?

Their teasing smiles faded and it was replaced with scowls. I gave a small victory smile before continuing to walk forward.

As soon as we were out of their hearing and vision, Hyungseo pulled me aside to one of the classrooms then shut the door.

"Hyungseo— "

"You didn't deny them."

"What?"

"You didn't tell them that I wasn't your boyfriend."

I laughed. "Hyungseo, it wouldn't matter. You and I know that we aren't dating so why would it matter that they think that we are?"

"Because hyung would kill me, Soomi!" He pouted. "I value my life."

"The most my brother's gonna do to you is ignore you for days."

"Not your brother." He said softly.

My smile slowly formed into a confused look. "Which hyung are you talking about?"

He sighed. "I can't say any more, but someone likes you from our group. That's all I can say. And you two are, or were, close."

I stood there dumbfounded, not fully understanding any of this.

"Come on, let's go."

We headed out of the classroom to be face to face with Younghoon.

"You took your time in the classroom, didn't you?"

I felt chills run up and down my spine.

"Younghoon hyung, it isn't— "

"If you think you're the only ones Sangyeon hyung trusts, think again."

"Younghoon," I said, reaching out for his arm, "calm down."

His eyes went to me and his gaze softened.

"We didn't do anything. He didn't do anything. I'm fine, Younghoon. We just talked about something." I explained.

"Alright, alri— "

The bell rang, signaling that classes were about to start again. We all said our goodbyes as Hyungseo and I rushed to our classroom.
