-Soomi-

"Can you please st— yah! Youngjae, you're gonna break something! Hyunjoon stop running after him! Younghoon you're not acting your age— Juyeon-ah! Stop! No! Don't! Oh my g— Joonyoung!"

I was holding my stomach as the guys were making a mess in the cafeteria. They decided to have a little... food fight, and my brother was shouting all around the place.

"Don't you dare get a piece of food on my sister, I swear!"

I shrieked as my eyes widened to see Hyungseo making his way to me.

"Yah, yah, yah! Hyungseo-ah! No! Don't!" I screamed as I scrambled to get up from my seat and away from the so-called threat.

I ended up bumping into someone, causing us to stumble slightly.

"I'm so sorry, oh my gosh." I looked up and I smiled.  "Minho."

He chuckled as he tucked away some hair that fell in front of my face.

"Hey there, Soomi. I'm guessing this is your brother and his friends?"

I nodded as I looked away from him and focused on them. Hyungseo had changed his target but the boys were oblivious to me in the arms of another.

Wait.

In the arms of another—

I cleared my throat as I slightly pushed away from Minho. I waved goodbye to him before heading back to the mess of a group.

"Okay, guys, enough! You'll get in trouble!" I said loudly, but they didn't listen.

"Yah!" I said again.

"YAH!"

They all stopped as they looked at me surprised. I sighed and eyed my brother who seemed to get himself in the mess.

"Right," he cleared his throat, "let's just fix up you guys. We'll continue this at whoever's house."

My eyes widened, knowing that whoever's house meant our house.

And of course, they didn't get away. They ended up going to detention for it, almost dragging me down with them, but thanks to Minho's statement, I was saved.

"Hyungseo, will you please stop looking? We aren't researching about the same place!" I cried out as I tried to shield my research from Hyungseo for the fifth time.

He pouted. "I just want to see where you and Minho want to go."

"It's not like we're actually going to go there."

"You never know." Chanhee sang teasingly.

"Chan, leave them be." Changmin chuckled.

"At least you guys know where you want to go." Juyeon grumbled.

So after school — more like after detention really — the guys came over to the house and now we're all plopped down all over the living room doing things for school.

My phone vibrated and I turned it over to see a message from Minho.

Minhoe: How's research going

Soomi: G r e a t

Soomi: If Hyungseo just stopped looking

Minhoe: Hyungseo's there?

Soomi: And the rest of the guys 🙄

Soomi: I'll text you when I've got enough info, aight?

Minhoe: Aighttt

"Shouldn't you be working on your project and not flirting?" Jaehyun asked coldly.

"Shouldn't you be minding your own business?" I fired back, not looking at him and locking my phone.

"Can you two not fight for one day." Hyunjoon groaned.

"That happened on Saturday." Youngjae chuckled.

"You're paying for that later."

I sighed as they got to their usual bickering. I felt as if someone was looking at me so I looked up and met the eyes of Younghoon. I gave him a small smile which he supposedly took as a sign to come over.

"Hey." He greeted.

"Hey." I greeted back.

"Look," he said quietly as he leaned in, "I need to talk to you in private."

My heart was pounding and my stomach was uneasy.

"Oh, uhm, alright."

I stood up and we headed to the back, the breeze cooling my flustered state.

I was just looking at Younghoon who was pacing back and fourth, thinking of something. All of a sudden, he faced me and walked to me briskly.

"Younghoon — "

"Soomi, I like you."

Where is this story even goING WHAT THE WHAT AM I DOING I need more Jaehyun x Soomi interaction and the house I'm imagining they have is their house in The 100 hehe
