Chapter 9

The three of us walked out of Cameron's room and headed down to the pack grounds.

"Maxwell may I ask what time will the ceremony start?" I asked while walking beside them both.
"Didn't your mom already told us?" Cameron said raising his eyebrows
"She did?" I said. "I honestly don't remember. My mind is a mess at the moment." I added

"The ceremony starts at 12:00 Alpha. It's currently 11:47 so we still have plenty of time." Maxwell said looking at his watch
"Thanks, and didn't I tell you to call me Crystal?" I said raising my brows at him. Maxwell chuckled

"I'm sorry Alp- I mean Crystal. It's been a long time since I call-" Max stopped in his tracks and stared into nothing.
"Max? You alright?" Cameron asked. I looked at him and mindlinked him

"Max? You already have a nickname for him eh?" I said in the mindlink
"Have a problem with that?" He replied

"Crystal I'll meet you two at the pack grounds. The queen ordered me to do something." Maxwell said then walking away. Oh well he seems to be in a rush

Time check: 11:48

"Why do I feel like my dress is too short?" I asked him while we're walking down this long hallway
"Short? It's not even that-"

"Because you're a slut" We heard someone say cutting off whatever Cameron is about to say

We turned our heads and saw Abby walking her way towards us. Cameron tried pulling me behind him but I didn't let him. I stood there staring at her

"Hello Abby" I said smirking at her. Cameron looked at me then Abby
"That's Luna to you bitch!" She said walking over to me

"Luna my ass." I heard Winter say

I laughed and said "You really think you're gonna be the Luna? Yeah keep dreaming Abby. No matter how many times you shove your entire self to Ace, he'll never accept you as his Luna nor his mate"

"And you know why?" I walked towards her

"'Cause his eyes are glued to his mate and that will never be you." I said. Her face frowned then turned to anger

"What makes you think he's gonna accept you as his mate? You're an ugly, weak and pathetic omega." She fired back

Time check: 11:50

"Once I become luna, I'll make sure that all the pack members will start to hate you more. I'm gonna make you suffer. I'll make you wish you were never born" She said trying to scare me.

I just calmly looked at her and said
"You really think the pack will accept you when they find out that you rejected your mate because you couldn't accept that even though he's an omega he's still stronger than you?"

"You bitch!" She yelled about to slap me in the face but I was quick enough to stop her

Time check: 11:51 (The time Crystal gets her powers)

She looked at me in shock while I just stared back still holding her wrist. She tried to remove her wrist from my grasp but my hold just got tighter and tighter. She glanced at my eyes then all of the sudden she screamed

Cameron's POV

I was just staring at them. I don't have the courage to stop them.

It's Crystal

She- she's glowing!

"AHHH!" Abby yelled in pain as she's trying to remove her wrist from Crystal's hand

I could tell she's not even holding on too tight, but Abby keeps on screaming and it hurts my ear so damn much.

"Crystal that's enough." I said.
