Casting The Circle Of White Light
Lord, Encircle me in the light of Love, Grace, Mercy and Faith. Walk within me, around me and beside me at all times. Keep me awake and aware of all things, in all ways, at all times. Let me grow in love and not in hate, in positive and not in negative, and wisdom, not in temptation. Keep me safe and secure as I walk through the world today from any mental, emotional, physical and spiritual harm. Let Faith, not fear be my guiding light, let love be my path at all times. Let the Holy Spirit continously come down to revive and refill my spirit, to be my confidant and counselor in all throughout the days of my life, let me continously be a greater soul, help me to grow in Wisdom, Experience, Knowledge and Understanding. Let me not falter or fall in my duties and responsibilities to you. In your name, the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
You can reword it as to your belief (hence, it not being "Christian-Specific"), it's the faith, not the religion involved in the mantra that makes it work. But it calls in a barrier to protect from harm by invocation. As it is used, it becomes an unbreakable sphere, in time and use it can become a weapon.
