        "Enough with the introduction already. Can we just get on with the food." Damon asked walking up to me and Elijah and pulling me from his grip.

        "Don't be so rude Damon." I said following my twin unwillingly as he had my arm. Once my hand left Elijah's grip, it was hard not to notice what looked like irritation on Elijahs face which seemed to be focused on Damon whose griped righted ever so slightly.

         Damon pulled me to the table in the middle of the dining area of the boarding house. The room was just as ancient as I was with its old chandelier and oak wood table. The table on the other hand didn't look like it's normal delicate intricacies, but more on the modern side with dishes of 'I-bought-this-and-put-it-in-the-bowl-to-make-it-look-like-I-made-it' fanciness. We all know that Jenna can't cook to save her life so she had Elena order and pick up dinner from the Mystic Grill, but no one is going to comment on it, even me of all people.

        It did the job though, Elijah never noticed or at least that's what he made everyone think. Damon sat Elijah next to Ric who was sitting at the end of the table.

I watched as everyone started to go to their seats leaving the seat next to Elijah open. I took my chance to not only get to know the all famous Mikaelson but to piss off my brothers and Elena as well. More or less Elena. As soon as I took my seat next to suit-man, I could feel Elena staring daggers through the side of my head. I ignored everyone giving me a look saying, you-should-not-be-sitting-next-to-him. 'Well it kind of works out that way seeing as it's the only seat left' I said to myself in my head. Even Ric of all people is giving me a disapproving look at the moment. I just gave Ric a look right back which made him look away.

Pointless conversations were happening all around me. I over heard Damon talking about the plan and where the dagger was with Ric, a little bit before dessert. I went to to stand to confront my brother and his little lifeless plan. As I went to stand, Elijah grabbed my arm to keep me from walking.

"Do you need something Elijah?" I ask with a smile and trying to act like a normal home owner would. To be honest I still failed at being nice, because even though I was trying to have a polite tone it still came out harsher than intended.

Elijah leans in next to my ear and says in a whisper, just loud enough for me to hear, "I wouldn't get up if I were you."

"Why?" I asked confused, getting lost in his perfect eyes. Perfect eyes? Dylan really? I shack my head and look back at Elijah. This man is like a viper. Completely and utterly beautiful but deadly when provoked. Yet, they have provoked the viper.

"They plan to inject you with vervain and lock you in the basement."

"My twin would never." I scoffed and stood up "don't lie to me." This man that I had just met thinks I would believe him over Ric and Damon. Sure, Damon is a self conceded, over dramatic, egotistical asshole with some what to no heart, but he wouldn't stoop to Stefan's level, or would he?

I look at Elijah one last time as I walk toward the kitchen where almost everyone is lurking.

Once I reach the kitchen the talking comes to a halt. I walk in to see Damon Elena and Stefan talking but there's no Ric. I raise my eyebrow and turn to look back at the table and still see no Ric.

"Where did Ric-" I start to say as I turn around just to have Damon shove a needle in my neck. At first, I was confused on what it could have been, but then it started to burn. It hit me like a full speed moving train, Vervain. My twin vervained me.

I growled, but it came out more as a weird awkward creaking sound. "Why?" I choked as he gently laid me on the floor.

"I'm sorry Dylan, we just can't have you ruining the plan." I started to see black dots and Damon reaching for my neck. Before I could ask what plan, I hear a loud snap and everything goes black.
