I crashed - almost.

On that day.

I felt alone,

and I didn't know why

Loneliness had me in its grasp,

And he does his job well.

This is what happened on that day:

He awakened, and stretched,

Then begun his work.

Whispering.

"See the way they didn't look at you."

"Pfft. They "didn't hear you" ; that's what they'll all say."

He waited until I had isolated myself from society,

And then pounced.

I will admit, he is clever.

He knows my weaknesses and my fears.

They're his playground, but my dark cell.

And that day

He played well.
