Red cheeks
Bright smiles
He loved her so
Slamming her phone down
In walks the crown
Hours later
She is alone
It's a night sky
Stars show light
Curled under blankets
Kitty at her ankles
Tears in her eyes
Stream down her cheeks
Frowning greatly
He messages
"I love you
So much my girl
Though not there
Though far away
I am always there
To protect
To love
To hug
To wipe your tears.
