She is controlling
He is drunk
She screams
He talks
She blames
He silent
She cries
He walks
He will never leave her
She hates him
Their children are scared
Their son does not understand
Their teenage daughter wishes to leave
She is tired
She is alone
She is done
Once 18 comes about
She is out
Parents make her guilty
Leaving so quickly
But...
She is done!
She wishes to leave
Someone waits for her
She must get to him
Forbidden love
Flying like a dove
Her heart soars
Metal creaking
Metal groaning
She is pulling
To freedom
Chains are breaking
Wing spreading
She is taking off
They are begging her to stay
She says: I will only return for my brother. You, my parents have hurt me, abused me for far too long and I must leave for I want to be free of this burden. Do care for him, my brother. Make sure he is happy and when he sad tell him all he must do it call and I will come for him. Only for him since he has never...ever hurt me like you two have. Have a good life.
She is 18
She is gone
She is free
she won
