Chapter 1: A Man On A Mask

August 29, 2012 - 2:35 PM, Chris, an 18 year old college student, is going back to his province in Laguna to study because he didn't pass the entrance exams in University of The Philippines. Chris is currently eating his lunch while he is watching the news, it is said  there that there is an incident happened in Sta.Rosa, a city in Laguna, a man was found dead near a supermarket, but not normally dead, police said that there is a fetus implanted to the man's stomach. Chris closed the TV due to the news he just watched. As he eat his lunch, his father, Vincent, called him, saying that they are about to go and they shouldn't be late, so he finished his lunch, get his things and ran to their car.

 It took 30 minutes for them to get there, at the train station. They waited for about 10 minutes for the train to come.As he wait for the train, he found a man reading a newspaper. Looking at the newspaper, he saw the news that  he saw at the TV, he was disguted about what he saw, so he just ignored it and patiently waited for the train. As the train stops to the station, he said goodbye to his father and went inside the train. Looking for a seat, he saw a beautiful girl, who is looking at the windows and sat beside her.Chris noticed that the girl is crying, since he like her,  he took his handkerchief and offered it to her. The girl looked at him, took the handkerchief, wiped her tears and said thanks.

 Chris asked the girl's name and why she is crying, then the girl answered him, saying that her name is Queenie and she is crying because her boyfriend dumped her.So Chris comforted her, and talked to her as he wait for the train to reach its destination. Queenie has already stopped crying.

4:41 PM, Chris realized that the train is about to reach its destination, he said to Queenie that he is about to go. Chris asked her number and she gave it happily.He stood up and said goodbye to her, but as he said goodbye, Queenie also stood up, and she told him that they have the same destination.

As she said that, Chris is bursting in happiness, and asked her if he can accompany her on her way home. Queenie gladly accepted the offer, and they went outside the train.As they went outside the train, a person, wearing a black jacket with a mask,  was running with a knife, the man looked at Queenie and ran towards her.

He stabbed her in the chest 4 times and cut her throat then escaped. Queenie fell down bleeding asking help to Chris, while Chris, who is very shocked, fell down on his knees and was shivering because of the shocking event happened right before his eyes.30 minutes later, the police arrived at the crime scene. The police saw Chris, who is just kneeling before the dead body and asked Chris about what happened, because of what happened he can't give any clear answers.The police took him to the precinct and asked various questions about the crime. The police asked him where he lives, and he answered it.

 8: 24 PM, The police escorted him on his way home. Chris still can't forget that scene, A beautiful girl who he just met in the train, was killed right in front of him.  When Chris got home, her sister Klaris welcomed him, but noticed that his brother is with the police, then she asked the police what happened and said to her that his brother is a witness in a tragedic crime scene.

 Very shocked, Klaris called her mother, Grace, immediately to explain her brother's situation. As soon as Grace knew what happened, she talked to the police and said thanks. The police left, and Grace began on comforting her son. Both Klaris and Grace were worried about Chris, they tried asking about what happened to him, but all he says is  "White Mask". Both of them don't understand what he's saying, so they just ignored his answer and fixed the bed of his brother for him to sleep and forget what happened today. 

August 30, 2012-1:24 AM,In his room, Chris tries to sleep but he can't, because he keeps on remembering the horrible scene that happened at the train station. The flashbacks on his mind is just scaring him, he can't endure it anymore so he went to  the kitchen to get some pills. As he tries to reach the cabinet where the pills are located, he heard foot steps at their backyard, someone was trying to enter their house. Shivering, Chris slowly looks at the window.

At their backyard, Chris saw a person, wearing a black jacket and white mask with a knife on his hand. Chris suddenly freezes and sweat are coming out from his body. He dropped the glass that he is holding, creating a noise. The person at their backyard suddenly heard the noise and escaped.

 Very scared, Chris ran to his room, locked the door and hid under his bed, and suddenly, someone knocked at his door, telling him to open it. Chris is very scared to open it, because he thinks that the one knocking and telling him to open the door is the murderer. The person knocking at the door began on yelling and telling him to open it. Chris, who is very scared, can't move an inch. Chris heard that the person is inserting something in the door knob, the keys, he began on shaking and as the door opened, Chris immediately fainted.
