Simón was rehearsing a song he was working on. He was so caught up in it that he didn't realize someone was staring at him in admiration. The one who couldn't keep her eyes away from him was Ámbar.
She didn't know what it was but she just couldn't look away from this guy. She loved hearing him sing. He had such a beautiful voice. Besides, he also looked handsome while playing his guitar.
She was so distracted while watching him that she didn't hear Matteo walking up to her. Once he realized who she was looking at, he had a huge smirk on his face.
"Are you looking at the guitarist?" Matteo suddenly said.
She didn't hear him so he said: "Since when are you so interested in Simón's rehearsals?"
When she heard his name, she woke up and looked at her side. "What were you saying?"
He laughed lightly as an aswer and added: "You seem very interested in what he's doing."
"I was just listening to the song, nothing else." she tried to deny it.
"Yeah, sure." he let out a laugh again and then left her alone to watch Simón more.
About a week after the event, Ámbar was skating on the rink. For the last few days, she couldn't stop thinking about him and she didn't know what to do with this. Looking at him, gives her this werid feeling, something she never felt before. It was scary and exciting at the same time.
Simón was there as well. He had to watch the rink because the usual employee got sick today and he was the only one to be able to replace him.
He noticed that Ámbar was skating and something pulled his look towards her. He found it fascinating to watch her. He could never get tired of it. She was so gracious and her moves are flawless but that wasn't the only thing that kept him captivated. It was her, just the view of her made him stare for a while.
Before he knew, someone was tapping on his shoulder and it took him a while to notice it. But once he did, he immediately turned around to see who it was. It was his best friend Luna. She was smiling as always. But this time, she also had a frown on her face. He waited until she started saying something.
"What's going on?" she asked after a few moments of silence.
"Nothing." he tried to hide what he was thinking but he couldn't fool her.
"I know you, Simón and you weren't just watching her, you were staring at her." she smiled.
"I wasn't." he kept choosing to go with denial.
"You don't have to lie to me, Simón. I know you like her." she smiled to show him that she was happy for him.
He sighed and surrendered, he went on to admit: "I don't just like her, I love her."
Luna was visibly surprised by this confession. "Wow, that I didn't know." it was the only thing she could say.
After a few minutes of silence, she continued: "So do you think there's a chance for you two?"
"I don't think so, I don't think she feels the same." he answered, visibly sad.
"You'll never know until you tell her." she encouraged him.
"No, Luna, I can't. We're friends and I don't want to ruin it by saying it when she doesn't feel the same." he was very upset.
"There must be a way to find out." she started thinking of possible ways. "We'll find out some way, I promise you."
This made him smile a little, but he wasn't convinced and she knew. "You'll see, you'll know soon now." after that, she left.
Luna kept thinking of a way the entire night and she didn't come up with anything. The entire thing still botheres her the next day and Matteo noticed how uneasy she was and decided to ask her what's going on.
