Knocking on the door could be heard in a spring day as the mother peeked through the magnifying hole to spot that it was her uncle, Fernan as she opens the door to invite him in. "I see you're all fitting in well to this house, it's been about a month since you've first moved in here. Nice to see this old home in better shape." he surveillances around the home and asks: "Your boys are in school?" "Yes, school should be over soon enough for them." "Good, good to hear, so I passed by because I figured you wanted to hear the news that..your Parents and siblings are moving in to this town." this was the first that Estrella has heard of the news as Fernan offers a ride to the bus station as they should be arriving soon. They wait patiently as Estrella remains in surprise that her family is moving over, but hooked on the idea that she was never told about it.
"Don't let it get to you, your father wanted to surprise you, though I imagine this hardly was a good surprise since they're leaving good jobs for a cheaper town, but that's their decision." Fernan stands in the shadow as the bus arrives with the sign near the window that says "Nueva Yor" as the vehicle is parked and passengers board off and the family is spotted. They are all greeted and welcomed as Fernan takes their luggage to stuff in his car's trunk as they drive around the town for Estrella's parents to get to know. "Richie, Rosa, the two of you will love it here, it's just a small town with less clutter compared to where you came from and stores aren't that far away from each other." they proceed to drive around as Estrella is conflicted with the lingering thoughts about her parent's arrival. Hours pass as they travel around and the family then arrives to Estrella's home as they settle in. "Estrella, I hope you don't mind your parent's staying here for a bit until they secure themselves a place and jobs." "No.. I don't mind, thought you should let Ramo-" "Great! Your father and I have decided to pick up your kids from school, I bet they would be thrilled to see their kid aunts!" It should be noted that throughout the entire day, Etrella had little conversation with her own parents as she was distracted the entire day.
Fast forward as the children arrive to the yard to all play while Ramon enters his own home to see a clutter of his wife's family, dropping in unexpectedly as he is told all the details and hesitates to reply immediately, but offers to lend a hand. Since Fernan is also the one that helped Ramon find the job he currently has and this home that was up for sale. In a split second a window is broken from a ball from the children playing as Ramon steps out to punish if it was his boys. However, the children would not answer who was responsible and point to each other. "It was Favian.. Chase.. Aetha.. Suure" in the end, Richie would defend that her own daughters were not responsible and fully blame Favian and Chase, that a dime wouldn't be paid even if his daughters were responsible. Estrella talked to a disrupted Ramon to not worry about it as she would help to pay for the window, she took responsibility for her side of the family, despite her feeling uneasy about their presence.
The two set off to bed as they discussed that Estrella should take them to the work agency to get jobs the quickest and seek an apartment here. She agrees as a few days pass as they leave from the home as the two are relieved and thought they had escaped drama from where they came from.
