After last night's garden antics, we decide to have a lie in. Snuggled together in bed, we chat about the next few days. As we chat, Jon phones. I instantly go into panic mode.
"What's happened? My parents ok?" I ask
"Everything is fine. Just wondering where you are?"
"At home, why?"
"You're supposed to be in town with me & your mum! Finalising flowers!!!"
"Oh fuck!!! I'll be there in half an hour!"
Jordan starts to laugh, "Get used to it, you'll never be on time once we're married!"
We quickly get ready & make it to the florist in half an hour. My mother gives me the evils & Jon just laughs, "Not even married yet & she's already following his lateness!"
I quickly apologise & we get down to business. The colours & ideas are perfect, lots of reds, oranges, yellows all fitting with the season & the vintage theme. With that all done, we go for food.
Jordan meets us, he apologises to my mum & she instantly forgives him. As we chat, I get a call from work asking me to go in. I quickly finish up, kiss mum & Jon goodbye & Jordan drives me to work.
"Phone me when you're done & I'll come & get you. Love you" Jordan says
"Thank you. Love you too" I kiss him on the cheek & get out of the car.
After a horrendous few hours at work, I reach a point where I can finish.
"Hey babe, I'm nearly done. Can you come & get me please?"
"I'm on my way."
