We arrive at the farm. The drive looks stunning, there's decorations on the entrance & placed at intervals all along it. The car stops, it's time. I get out of the car & stop, I start shaking, feeling like I'm going to fall over.
"Are you ok, Lily?" Dad asks all concerned
"Yeah, I'm fine, pop. Just very nervous." I reply clinging onto his arm.
We get the nod from inside the marquee. I turn to look at my 3 friends waiting behind me, they all smile & nod. I turn to my dad & with a deep breath, I say "Lets do it."
The music starts & we enter. The marquee looks stunning. Jon has done the most unbelievably amazing job. The aisle is lined with lit candles in jars, each decorated with either a freesia or sweet William (a little acknowledgement to my beloved grandparents). The flowers at the end of each row of seats echo my bouquet perfectly, red carnations, lemon gerbras & peach roses, all sit beautifully. The arch way at the top of the aisle, is full of the same flowers, with my favourite lilies mixed in them.
Then, I see Jordan.

My breath is taken away from me at the sight of my man, Jordan Knight, stood at the top of the aisle waiting for me. He looks so handsome, in his classic black tux. It looks like he wipes a tear from his eye as our gaze locks. I turn to my dad & smile. As I do so, I feel all my nerves disappear. Feeling calmer, I look back at Jordan, he smiles & I feel myself blush. After what seems like an eternity, I'm finally stood by him. He turns, lifts my veil up, & whispers
"You look more beautiful than ever"
"Thank you, not too bad yourself"

As we stand side by side, we instinctively reach for each other's hand. As our fingers interlock, Jordan gives my hand a reassuring squeeze & it's at that moment, that l knew it was real & forever.

The celebrant began:
We are here today, to witness the marriage of this beautiful couple. A couple, who over the last few months I have got to know & can see how much they are in love. The bride & groom have prepared a few words that they would like to share with you. Jordan, you first.

We turn to face each other. Jordan takes both my hands in his, I can feel him shaking with nerves. I look deep into his eyes, smile & squeeze his hand. He takes a deep breath & begins:
"From the moment I saw you, covered in paint & glitter, I knew you were the one for me. I saw the love, care, affection & warmth you were showing those children. When our eyes met, I knew you felt it too. Vicki, you are my world. I love you with all my heart & soul, & I promise that will never change. I will be there for you, no matter what, through the difficult times & the best of times. I love you, my darling."

By the time he has finished, we both have tears in our eyes & I can hear a few sniffs coming from our family & friends.
"Vicki, it's your turn"
Jordan squeezes my hands, I close my eyes & take a couple of deep breaths.

"Jordan," I begin "never in my wildest of dreams did I ever think I would be marrying my boy and crush. The day we met, I tried so hard to hide my nerves & not do or say something stupid. But from the moment our eyes met, I knew that it was the start of something big. You are the kindest, most loving & generous person I know. You always put my needs, feelings, hopes & dreams first. You are my best friend, my rock & my whole world. I will be there for no matter what the rollercoaster of love & life throw at us. I love you, Jordan."

By now, the tears have over flown from my eyes & are rolling down my cheeks. Jordan has tears in his eyes.

We are asked for the rings. Jordan turns to Jon, who starts fumbling in his pockets. Then Donnie hands him a small box containing both rings.
"Looking for these?" He laughs, handing the box to Jon.
Once the rings are exchanged, the celebrant concludes "Well, there is nothing left for me to say, except, I now pronounce you husband & wife. Jordan, you may kiss your bride."
As everyone begins to applaud & cheer, Jordan scoops me up into his arms & we kiss like never before, the kiss that means forever.
