XIII. Fondness

Author's POV:

At the bench area of the shopping center or the mall, Suzy is waiting for Ji eun who texted her yesterday evening to see her becomes she has something to tell her importantly. Without hesitation because she is her best friend, Suzy came in the place where Ji eun told her to wait. She was in the same spot just like everytime they meet. Same place, smae time, and same place as always. Suzy tap the wooden table impatiently using her left forefinger while her right hand is busy holding her drink. 

Take her last drink she saw a familiar figure walking towards her. She frown in confusion as she see a two figure of girls. "Suzy!" Ji eun call out with her high pitch voice. 

"So eun-shii." Suzy said in nowhere. She use formal words as the two of them did not saw each other for such a long time. This is their first time after their half year seeing each other. So eun wave her hand and smile sweetly to Suzy. 

"Suzy-ah, I'm sorry if I'm late. I went to her house first before coming here." Suzy just blink her eye to Ji eun. 

"So eun." Suzy call. "Not because I don't want you to be here. It's just we have a problem." Suzy  pinch Ji eun's small arm and she jump in surprise. Both look at each other especially Ji eun who looks confuse and So eun too.

"What's the problem Suzy?" So eun asked.

"It is Ji eun's fault. She did not told me that you will be here so I text Junho to come too since this is our free day."

"Suzy, my fault?" Ji eun mumble to herself. 

"Don't worry I can tell him that-"

"No it's okay. Past is past. It's not a big deal. I already move on." she smile confidenlty with a strong smile that they can tell she is fine without him already. Suzy felt relief when she heard So eun's master of words that she turn her head to Ji eun and raise her eyebrow. Giving each other's signal like an expert. 

"What are we doing here, let's go and eat lunch. I'm starving to death." Suzy growl in her tiger pitch. Both girls laugh to her action as always. 

First they walk around the shopping center to find place to eat. As they were looking for a store to eat Suzy growl again saying she is really that the food's taste doesn't matter if it is delicious or not. She just want to eat and that's it. Ji eun and So eun are behind Suzy so she doesn't hear their conversation. 

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to set this thing." Ji eun apologize to her as she had no idea that Suzy invite her cousin to have a lunch with her and Suzy. She doesn't want to cause any trouble to people and that is one of her hate things to do. Giving trouble to other people is giving her frustration to herself and to the person she is giving trouble.

"It's okay. I already told you that I'm fine. If Junho choose her whose above me I can't do anything but to accept his decision. You can control people's mind but not their heart." she pat Ji eun's back as she doesn't want her to feel uncomfortable to the situation. Ji eun nod her head and feel that So eun is now over to her cousin. Deep thoughts covered her mind. It's okay to see him, right? Her thoughts said in echo.

They end up in a coffee shop. As they enter, they smell the tantalizing aroma of fresh coffee. It is perfect to the weather as it is cold outside and Suzy is only wearing a trench coat with hoodie wool brown. "Perfect." they said in unison. 

A nice woman went to their place and asked for their order. While waiting for it, Suzy's phone starts to beep. She excused herself in a second and so she went outside to talk to her father who is asking her to come home early. Inside the coffee shop, Ji eun give So eun a broad smile. Suzy enter the shop again.
