They ended up back at the kids old school. Hawkins middle school, Y/n jumped off Will followed suit, then Mike and El. Soon after Dustin got off his bike and pulled out his walkie talkie to inform Lucas and Max about their location.
"So, We're here because?" Lucas asked Y/n once he and Max arrived. "Because the shadow monster needs an excuse another victim to leave Mrs Byers. Before any of you say anything, i'm going to do it. But it has to be here because this is where it ended the first time, so this is where it's going to end the second." Will immediately shook her shoulder. "Are you crazy? No. I'm not letting you after everything that's happened we need you." Will said hiding his sadness by looking angry. "Will...I'm sorry i'm so sorry. I'm going to have to get your mother here as soon as i can." Will reluctantly pulled out his own walkie talkie to channel six. "Mom....Get here to Hawkins intermediate now, please over." At first static then a weak voice fell over the walkie talkie, "Be right there sweetie over and out." They waited ten minutes before Mrs Byers showed up at the school looking distraught. Following were: Nancy, Jonathan, Jim and Steve. "Why are they here?" Dustin asked gesturing to the others. "She can't be left alone not at her state, so why are we here?" Jim asked El. Y/n cut in and explained what has to be done. "I need to do it i'm a danger to myself and everyone around me." Y/n said finishing. Jim looked thoughtful for a moment before saying "Are you sure?" "Yes." Y/n replied. Everyone looked at Will sendig his sympathy which for reasons he could not explain annoyed him. "Fucking stop." He said and turned away heading into the school.
