Chapter 5

Kate's POV

Yesterday was the best day of my life, He said that he likes me...We kissed.
I only met him two days ago and now he's telling me that he likes me!!!
This is so weird like...How did it happen so fast?!
After I got ready I made my way to art class.

In Art class

When I entered class I saw Niall, Louis, Liam and Harry but Zayn wasn't there...
I greeted the boys
"Good morning guys"
"Mornin Kate" Niall said with smile
"Where's Zayn?" I asked them in confusion
"We haven't seen him today" Louis answered
"Is something wrong with him?" I asked
"No, actually we didn't talk today even on phone, don't worry maybe he's in his dorm or something" Liam said
Miss Nancy walked in and class started

After classes I went to my dorm to take a shower and change my clothes.

I ended up in a baby blue dress covering my knees and the necklace grandma gave me before she died.
Tomorrow's the first day of my first weekend here and I'm so excited.
Now I gotta go check on Zayn and see if he's ok I haven't seen him all day.

I started knocking on his door "Come in"  he said tiredly
When I got in I found him laying in bed
"Hey, you alright?" I asked him stepping closer
"I am exhausted I literally can't move I feel like I had an accident or something" he said so tired  "And I can't sleep I have strong headache"
"Why didn't you call me?" I said sitting beside him on bed
"I didn't wanna bother you" he said
I nodded placing the back of my hand on his forehead "Zayn your temperature is very high we have to call the doctor"
"Kate I'm fine don't worry" he said with a small smile
"Zayn I have to call the doctor to write you a medicine or something if you stay like that you won't get any better" I said
"Fine" he said it looks like he's suffering severe headache, I can see it on his face
I called the doctor and we waited for her arrival.
"Hi Zayn I'm doctor Suzy, how're you feeling? "she said
"I have strong headache and I can't move from bed" he said and she opened her bag and got out the thermometer to measure his body's temperature and she listened to his heart beats.
she wrote him some medicines, she told me to lower his temperature with cold water every couple of hours then she left
"I'm gonna go buy your medicines I take long just stay in bed" I told him and he nodded in silence

Zayn's POV

I'm too tired and exhausted that I can't move just waiting for her to return. I couldn't sleep. Kate's very kind and caring I really love spending time with her.
The door swung open and she walked in with a bowl full of water and a paper bag of medicines
"How're you doing?" she asked
"Not better still tired as hell" I said weakly
"Okay now I'll give you the medicines the doctor wrote you. And with iced water on your forehead you'll feel better before you know it" she said while putting the bowl and the bag on the nightstand beside me and then she filled a cup of water and handed it to me with the medicine "Here you go" she said

"Thank you Kate, for everything you're doing for me" I told her
"No need to thank me, I wanna be here with you" she said with a smile and kissed my forehead
Then I handed her the cup and she placed it on the nightstand and then she took a piece of cotton and soaked it in cold water and then she placed it on my forehead.
The water was so cold on my skin I squeezed my eyes shut
"Sorry, it won't take long" she said placing the cotton in the water again and then placed it on my neck.
"Here done for now, I'll do this again every once in a while but not now"
"Ok" I told her
"Zayn you have to sleep, you need rest" she said
"I'll try" I said closing my eyes
She was next to me and then I felt her fingers running through my hair and I began to relax...I forgot all about my headache and I fell asleep.

Kate's POV

"I'll try" he said closing his eyes and I began to run my fingers through his perfect hair as he fell asleep he looks like an angel in his sleep.
After a while he began to shiver then he started crying and he was breathing heavily
"Noo...no, please, leave him alone please, HELP...Help me, noo" he started screaming
"Zayn, Zayn wake up what's wrong?" I said worried 
His eyes flew wide open. He was frightened and out of breath and then he hugged me tightly with tears running down his cheeks and I started moving my hand on his back to comfort him.
I handed him a cup of water and he took a sip, he began to relax he placed his head on my chest and wrapped his arms around my waist "K-Kate please don't leave me alone please" he said tightening his arms around me
"I'm here don't worry I won't leave you" I whispered to him and moved my fingers through his hair to help him fall asleep again and to comfort him as he slept with his head on my chest and I fell asleep too.
