Khaira's POV

It's so dark in here, I thought as I walked further in the old and big building that obviously had no one living in it. I felt so cold, and very scared by the view in front of me since I entered this building. As brave as I looked, I was still having the scared feelings whenever I watched those horror and haunted movies.

And among all of them, I, until now couldn't get over that movie, the one that has sister from the church in it. Valak. That's her name.

It's also very similar to the building that those dumb teenagers love to challenge each other to explore the place, just to prove who's the bravest among them. I sighed as I thought about those teenagers that always ended up being dead. Sometimes, teenagers are born to be dumb and stupid although they already knew what would have happened.

But then I realized, I was also just like them, instead, I came here to do my work. Not looking for any ghost. But the ghost would appear even if I didn't want it to. My eyes turned big and forming 'O' since the realization hit me.

It would appear!

Oh my God!

It would appear!

I needed to get out from here before it even had time to take even a single glance at me. I was about to turn my heel but then, I heard some familiar voices in one of the room across me.

I quickly ran, without making any noise and stand by the closed door. From the door, I could see blurry images of what or more specifically who are in the room.

"Did you really say that you saw Mason and Logan entered a building near our academy?" A not so familiar voice said. His voice was deep and I could guess that he was frowning.

"Yeah, I saw them entering it but it is not just that, a moment after that, a lady also walked in wearing just a black shirt, skinny jeans and a pair of Converse. I couldn't figure out her face since she's a bit far from my place. What can I say is she has average height, maybe 5'7 and her hair was black or maybe dark brown and it was past her shoulders," that's Peter for sure. I could recognized his voice quite well.

But the first voice was hard, I've never heard it before. I was careless about what Peter said since the first voice had made me thinking who belonged to that voice. Then, I heard another conversation began,

"She's probably their new spy. After all, the lastest had been kicked out. Thanks to Leo," It was Ray and I guessed he was smiling and then a deep chuckled was heard, it's very familiar.

"She's unexpectedly easy. It just took me 2 months to make her spilled out everything. But it's also their fault for telling her the secrets although they knew it's risky,"

Yes! I knew it. It's Leo. They're probably talking about the spy before me. I was also disappointed of her. She begged Alex to tell her about all of the secrets in ViruX and even made promise in the name of her dead grandmother that she would not tell anyone, and Mason said that Alex had a very huge crush on her so he did tell her. Mason and Logan didn't think it's a good idea to tell her, but Alex convinced them that she would never break her promise.

Never break promise, my butt.

Just after a month of that, she already spilled everything. When I said everything, I mean everything. From A to Z.

When Mason and Logan were telling me this story, Alex face was full of anger and hatred. He didn't call her by her name but instead, he called her 'that woman' or sometimes, he called her with very colourful words.

Thomas's voice broke me from my thoughts,

"Let's wait there at the building everyday to find out more information or maybe even get to know the spy of ViruX,"

I was shocked, and the unfamiliar voice began talking again,

"I allowed all of you to wait by the building,"

Without further ado, I ran out from the scary building. But my footsteps were so loud that maybe they heard me because I heard Ray yelled and footsteps were ecchoing behind me.
Thank God, I managed to escape them.

I fished for my phone in my short denim pocket, and quickly messaged Logan, Mason and Alexto to gather and tell them about ToxiS's plan.

***

"Why are you gathering us, Khaira? Is it really necessary? I was having a date and you distu-," Mason rambled in just one breath so, to save his time since he had a date, I cut him off.

"ToxiS saw us met up at this place and they planned to wait by everyday," I stated it and their faces are very funny that I would love to take a picture.

"Close your mouth boy," I rolled my eyes, hoping to find my brain in there. I mentally laughed at myself. My humor was lame. And it's been that way since I was born.

"Our place had never been found by anyone before," Logan said as he furrowed his brow together. They're making this look like this building was very hard to be found.

It's just some blocks away from school and its across the Starbucks so... Where's the 'very hard to be found' came from?

" Yeah," I mumbled more to myself but Logan nodded his head as he maybe thought I agreed with him.

"Put that question aside, and let's find other place," Alex said calmly and eyed my. I glared at him hard and he immediately looked at Logan.

"Don't mess your brain thinking about the place. Why don't we just meet up at one of our room?" Mason shrugged as he said that.

"That would be a great idea but the fact that it's risky was not a very good idea," Logan stated and rolled his eyes at Mason. Mason just glared at him. What's up with them?

"Use your brain. We met up once in a while when we only have something to talk about. We could go to one of our rooms at midnight when we are sure that everyone is not around. Easy right?" Mason scoffed at the end.

"That's a good idea coming out from your mouth," Alex joked and he only received a glare from Mason.

"So we have settled it. Bye," I exited the building
