What really happened

In the year 2017, aliens encountered the space probe known as Voyager. They studied it and learned the location of earth. Earth was at peace at that time. Then the aliens arrived and attacked Europe, China, Russia, America and all other countries within the next hour. This event will be known as "The First Contact War". As the aliens push through Beijing China capitulates then Brazil then other countries as well. UN knew they were outgunned and outnumbered. So they had no choice but to nuke em. Nukes fall in the cities of Berlin, Roma, Gibraltar, Moscow, 3 on Beijing, 2 in Brasilia, 2 on Cuba,5 in New Orleans, 1 in San Fransisco, Quebec, Glasgow, Perth, Canberra, Jakarta,Yokohama,Niamey, Ottawa, Khabarovsk and 30 more in Europe. These nukes caused a radioactive emp burst all around the globe turning all electronics especially alien ships. However some human military bases are equipped with anti-emp burst making their electronics still operational. The aliens aren't prepared for such destruction so they left. Earth was Victorious. But Radioactive storms rain down on Earth's surface mutating anything on its path. The storm disappeared after 5 months. Many governments fell making everyone leaderless. Some rose to power and started their own cities and territories. Felix was born 2 years after the war together with his sister. Their parents died when they were 16 due to natural causes. Now this is where the story begins in Tasman, which used to be called Australia.
