We all walked over to the rail station near the bombsite and all looked over the barbed wire fence surrounding it

“There it is. Ay, they've got Algy on duty. Must be important.” Jack said pointing over to a guard

“We've gotta get past.” The Doctor said urgently

“The words 'distract the guard' head in my general direction.” Rose said smirking

“I don't think that'd be such a good idea.” Jack said

“Don't worry... I can handle it.” Rose assured him

“I've got to know Algy quite well since I've been in town. Trust me. You're not his type. I'll distract him. Don't wait up.” He said walking off. Rose and I look at each other

“Relax, he's a 51st century guy. He's just a bit more flexible when it comes to dancing.” The Doctor said

“Yeah, but the question is, how flexible is he?” I asked

“Well, by his time, you lot have spread out across half the galaxy.” The Doctor said

“Meaning?” Rose asked

“So many species, so little time...” The Doctor said grinning

“What, that's what we do when we get out there? That's our mission? We seek new life, and... and...” I said trailing off

“Dance.” The Doctor said grinning I laugh then turn to watch Jack approach Algy. They talk for a moment and Jack took a slow step backwards as Algy cocked his head to one side observing Jack with child-like curiosity

“Shit” I muttered as Algy fell to his knees coughing and before our eyes his faced transformed into a gasmask. The Doctor runs over Rose and me following him

“Stay back!” the Doctor said as guard started coming towards us

“You men! Stay away!” Jack yelled at the guards

“The effect's become air-borne. Accelerating.” The Doctor

“What's keeping US safe?” Rose asked worried

“Taking a guess here. Nothing.” I said

“Exactly” the Doctor said

“Ah, here they come again.” Jack said looking up as the air raid sirens went off

“All we need.” Rose said

“Uhh Jack didn’t you say a bomb was going to land HERE?” I asked pointing to the ground we were standing on. Jack nodded and you could here someone singing in the background

“Never mind about that. If the contaminants air-borne now, there's hours left.” The Doctor said.

“For what?” Jack asked

“Till nothing. Till forever. For the entire human race.” The Doctor said

“Can anyone else hear singing?” I asked. The Doctor nodded and went toward the shed where the singing was coming from and I followed

“Rock-a-by baby, on the tree tops, when the wind blows the cradle will rock... When the bough breaks the cradle will fall, and down will come baby, cradle and all...” We went in the shed and saw a gasmasked person asleep with their head on a table and Nancy handcuffed to a pole singing. The Doctor motioned to her to keep singing and went over to her handcuffs sonic screwdriver out“Rock-a-by baby... on the tree tops, when the wind blows the cradle will rock...” he flicked on his sonic and begins to unlock her handcuffs. Jack and Rose come and stand behind me in the doorway and Nancy’s handcuffs and she stands following us out of the shed leaving the gasmasked zombie fast asleep. We go to the bomb site where Jack and the Doctor uncovered the Chula med-ship.
