We walked to our first class and I heard a voice call out "John, John wait" I turned to see who was calling, I saw a tall long haired guy with his hair up kind of like John did, his hair was slightly straighter than John's. I looked up at John. "Alex this is Rose" I looked at Alex and smiled "Nice to meet you Alex". John and I continued to class with Alex, who was trying to flirt, I noticed John roll his eyes and I giggled "So you wanna hang out" Alex asked "I'm sorry what, I was kinda zoned out I'm sorry" I looked down and rubbed my arm so he asked again "I'm down, Rose what about you". I thought about what Laf said before we left France, I looked up and nodded smiling.
Time skip
I got out of my final class and texted John
Rose 🌹: you out yet
John.l.: no you?
Rose 🌹: Yea I'm going back to the room text me when you're on you're way 😊
John.l.: Will do
I got to my room and threw myself onto my bed, just as I was falling asleep I heard a knock on the door. "What do you want" I called "Let me in" it was Alex. I let him in and went back to sit on the couch when he grabbed my arm. "Um can I help you Alex" "Rose I like you". I just stood there then my phone vibrated
John.l.: Omw
Rose 🌹: where are you
John.l.: By the door why
Rose 🌹: I'll meet you out there
I put my phone in my pocket and rushed out the door and met John downstairs. He could tell something was up "Rose you okay" "Alex is in our room". John ran up leaving me outside, when I got up there John and Alex were yelling at each other. "Um...guys" I just rubbed the back of my neck "Hey" Alex started my way "I didn't mean to frighten you" I just nodded and walked to my room and I heard the door close, John knocked on my door and popped his head in "Can I come in" I felt myself begin to blush "Sure" he walked in and say on the edge of my bed he looked over at the pile of stuffed animals I had on a beanbag chair I had in the corner and smiled. I sat next to him and tried to see what he was looking at then I noticed. "Oh I have one for you, only because Laf said they're your favorite". I got off my bed and opened a box piling out a stuffed turtle and handed it to him. "Laf said you told him you were upset because you had to leave your pet at home so I bought this for you" I looked down at my feet "I love it" he said causing me to smile. I sat back on my bed and asked if we were still hanging out with Alex he nodded "His friend Hercules is gonna be there too hope that's okay" I just giggled and nodded. He got up and walked out "I'm gonna change I'll let you know when we're leaving" "Okay". About 20 minutes later I heard John say we were leaving, I walked out and looked at him "Doesn't take 20 minutes to change John" smirked at him and walked past him. He "What are you talking about" he stammered, I just laughed. We got to Alex's room and I looked up at John "Hey John, I uh, I may need to go back of it gets to be too much" he just smiled "I'll take you back of you need it" we walked in and Alex and one of his friends were sitting on the couch. "John, you got Rose out of her room" " Dieu parfois je déteste les américains". Alex looked at John then me "John did you hear what she just said" "Dude, I don't know French, you know that" Alex just looked at him "Oh, yeah". John and I sat down with the other two "So you gonna tell me your name" I asked Alex's friend "Oh that's the guy I told you about in our room" John said blushing a little "Ohhh, nice to meet you" "And you as well, call me Herc" Hercules said, I nodded. Next thing I knew there had to be 20 of us in Alex's room, I couldn't take the crowd so I texted John
Rose 🌹: Hey I'm going back to the room it's too much.
John.l.: You want me to come with you
Rose 🌹: Yes please
I met John out in the hall and we made our way back to the room. When we walked in I went straight to my room "Want me to come with you" John looked worried, I just shook my head and laid down. About an hour later I fell asleep. When I woke up I heard yelling and laughing I looked in the hall and all of Alex's friends were now in the hall, drunk of course, I felt a hand on my shoulder and jumped. "Rose it's me" it was John who now had hugged me when he pulled away he led me back into my room and sat with me we talked till 3a.m it was, nice, I've never just talked to anyone before, I told him about a lot of things that not even Laf knew, before we knew it, we were both asleep.
