The King spent the rest of the night pretty upset. Once he was able to calm down, he finally turned in and went to sleep. The following morning arrived quickly. The sun rose with lots of warm rays, that made the beginning of the day very muggy.
Athena was up very early. The sound of her singing little friends made sure of that. "Good morning, my beautiful birdies. Here you go, eat up. I won't be seeing you for a while, so do pay attention." she explained to the birds. She then grabbed the large bag of bird feed, then she opened up a drawer. She then pours the entire bag of bird feed. "Now I really don't have any idea how long this food will last, but please take your time, I might never return. I will miss you," she whispered to the birds outside of her window.
Some who the bird did understand her. They ate some of the food, then they stopped and waited for Athena to exit the bathroom. She appears fully dressed and ready to go. "If I can make it by the kitchen door without Tatura and her sons spotting me, I might get away scot-free." she thought as she walked the castle halls heading toward the kitchen exit.
Meanwhile, King David was still sleeping. It was six in the morning and he always slept until nine. Athena knew this, so she moves as fast as she could to get far away from the castle before they could realize she's gone.
Tatura and Jack were already doing the morning chores. Jack's younger brother was feeding the farm animals and Jack was milking the cow. Tatura was gathering eggs from the hen house to proceed on making breakfast for the entire family.
While Athena roamed the castle halls, she peaks out one of the windows. She saw Tatura brothers working outside. "They're outside, so that means that Tatura should be already in the kitchen making breakfast. Somehow, I just ran by her without her seeing me." Athena thought to herself when she finally was standing right near the kitchen door.
Then suddenly Jack screamed out his sister's name, "Tatura comes to give me a hand with the milk, I can't carry both barrels." Tatura quickly ran out of the house towards the barn to help her brother. "Oh, right! This is my chance." Athena muttered pretty loud.
"Excuse? Athena is that you?" asked Tatura as she glanced back into the house. "No! No! She couldn't have heard me." she thought while hiding behind the door quietly. Tatura didn't see her, "I think I should take a nap today. When you start hearing people that aren't there, I'm pretty sure that's lack of rest." she said then she continued on her way towards the barn.
