Athena realized this was the perfect time for her escape. She quickly ran out of the back castle's door. Running by the large stone barn, she didn't see a basket. Athena stumble to the dirt ground landing right in front of the open barn doors.
She thought quick and rolled out of sight. Tatura heard the noise and quickly glanced then headed towards the exit. "Who's out there?" she said When she stepped out of the barn, to look around, Athena little flying friends, flew around the bucket, making it roll and make noise.
"Oh, you birds go away! You scared me to death," she said Then she picked up a large bottle of milk, while her brother carried the other one as they both headed back to the house to continue to fix breakfast before the others wake up.
The princess noticed what the birds did for her, "Thank you," she whispered as she waves and ran through the daisy fields that lead to the forest. Athena ran straight, not thinking and without a plan.
After running for twenty minutes, she came to a stop. "Wow, I must sit and rest. Then think what to do next. Then she sat down right on the grass, breathing hard to catch her breath.
The princess felt a bit afraid. She never walked through the forest. She sat and leaned against a tree, making sure, no one was coming. The princess's heart did beat so fast, for she ran away without a plan.
Then suddenly as she looks up, her flying friends did make her smile. "Hey, thanks for what you did back there. But are you following me," she said with a smile as she stood up and walked towards her flying friends. There were five birds and each had a name. Whitebeard, Blackbeard, One Eye Jack for he was missing one eye. Ancker, Water, who was terrified of water. They were different types of colorful birds.
The birds all began to make their beautiful chirping bird music. Then One Eye Jack flew down landing on Princess Athena's should. While Whitebeard flies above her heading back towards the castle, then returned and flew around the princess.
"Stop that! I do understand. You're trying to tell me to turn back I know. But I'm too young to married that's while I must go. I'm too young to marry, I want to live life. Travel many distances, to feel what is life.
I should have planned better, that is a mistake that I've made. For really right now, I don't know what to do next. But I'm not turning back, all I need is a plan. Which way to go, I really must think." she whispered
The birds began to fly around her, then back towards the castle, chirping, as they try to get her attention to do the right thing. Athena shook her head no, then suddenly she smiled.
"Wait, I know where to go," she whispered as she headed north towards the ocean, where the king kept plenty of boats. The birds stopped in mid-air, then two of her friends headed back to the castle, while the other three, flew right above Athena as she walked, then ran, then walked again through the unknown forest that scared her so bad. She saw the birds following her, but she pretended not to and continue to run towards the ocean shore.
