"What's your favorite thing to eat?"

"What's your favorite animal? Mine is a dog. You know what they say, a dog is a man's best friend."

"Oh I know a good question, what's your favorite book?"

Annabelle sighed, this has been going on for the last twenty minutes. He just doesn't give up.

She looks up at him, blinks rather slowly, then continues reading like nothing happened.

"Did you just acknowledge my presents and then ignore me?"

"I feel so offended."

"You know what I should get?"

"An apology."

"You know..."

"An I'm sorry."

"That's all you have to say."

"Sorry."

Annabelle can't help but think about how consistent this boy is.

"You've talked to me before, you even gave me a hug. What happened to that girl?"

She rolls her eyes at this. Everyone always wants her to be something. Wanting her to follow their rules.

"Where are you going?" Christopher yells, hearing several 'be quiets' following his noise making.

He struggles to catch up to Annabelle, since she actually walks so fast, even if she is on the shorter side. Guess that's what come with running away all of the time.

Christopher rounds the corner only to see that there is a boy that is smirking and talking to Annabelle.

She doesn't look him in the eyes, only studying the color of her shoes. Red flats.

"So how's it been the past couple of years? Have an new friends? Maybe a boyfriend?"

This only makes Annabelle back up, slowing taking one step at a time in the poison direction of Jack Woodridge.

"Oh come on, you've had to make at least ONE friend." He already know the answer to these questions. A smirk playing on his face.

Annabelle was still backing up until she came into contact with a chest.

Christopher.

"Well of course you have a friend, right Annabelle?" With that, he puts his arm around Annabelle, who visibly tenses with human touch. Not to mention a boy.

Annabelle thinks that she will get a headache soon with the amount of questions she's been asked today.

Jake just stares at them as they walked down the hallway, together.

Once out of light of sight from Jake, Annabelle detaches herself from Christopher almost as if she's been bitten.

"So... friend." Christopher is looking at her, smiling. He puts his arm around her once again, only seconds later to have his hand pushed off of her.

Annabelle steps away, turns around and looks up at him.

"Thank you." And with that, she walks down the hall to her next class. Not once glancing back at a very confused Christopher.
