JIMIN'S POV
"Umm...Jimin hyung?? Can I at least know the guy that is protecting me's age?" Tawhyung asked. "Yeah,sure! Why not...besides,he didn't tell me not to tell you his age. Well,he's 19 y/o. The same age as us." I said and his mouth formed an 'o' shape showing that he understood, by reading my lips of course. I'll have to get used to him reading my lips so that I wouldn't feel awkward about him looking at my lips.
"I'm still here,ya know?" Bogum hyung said. Oops! I forgot that he was there in the first place. I looked at him and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry hyung,I guess I got caught up in talking to him." When I look back at Tae,he had a confused face. Of course he would,he couldn't hear Bogum hyung calling out to us just now. So I told him everything and he just said "ah~~" with a realisation face. He look so cute like that. No wonder Jungkook became soft for him.
"Hey Tae,would you like to join me and my friends on recess time?" I asked after Bogum hyung left. He looked up at me with a scared and nervous expression written on his face. He asked "Wouldn't they feel annoyed cause I'll have to read their lips to understand and I wouldn't be able to hear them if they called out to me....😔" Tae said with a sad expression. It made sense but I know that they wouldn't be like that. Especially to someone like him. He's just too precious to get hurt.
Skip to recess time cause I've ran out of ideas...😂
It was recess time and I was dragging a reluctant Taehyung to my friends and I's usual table. He was shaking out of nervousness. I was about to tell him that it was gonna be okay when I realised that he couldn't hear me. It's not that I'm not scared to introduce him to them,I am actually...but,I had to try or else we won't know how it ends,right?? We arrived at the table and I saw all of my hyungs and Jungkook at the table.
Guess I'm the one that's late today,usually it would be Hobi hyung or Yoongi hyung. When we got closer,I greeted all of them. "Hey hyungs and Jungkook. I want to introduce you to someone." I said then turned to look beside me only to find him disappeared. I panicked but when I looked behind me,I was relieved to see him standing there with his head down. I pulled him to the side so he would be standing beside me. "Guys,this is Taehyung. Taehyung,this is my friends. Starting from the right is Namjoon hyung,Jin hyung,Hobi hyung,Suga/Yoongi hyung and last but not least,Jungkook."
Once I finished the introduction,Tae and Jungkook looked shook. They were looking at each other. Then,Namjoon hyung spoke up saying "Hi,Taehyung!" and that broke off their intense staring contest with Tae not hearing his greeting. Well,more like Jungkook broke it since Tae can't...really...hear....😔 I guess that's what Tae was afraid of. Us not remembering about his hearings and when we called out to him,he won't look at us or react to our calls for him. I hope...no. I wish that,that won't happen. Especially to Tae.
He deserves more than that.
JUNGKOOK'S POV
When Jimin showed the guy he wanted to introduce to us was Tae,I became (Jung)shook. I could also see Tae become (Tae)shook too. We were both having a staring contest with wide eyes and mouth hanging open. But then,Jimin was looking at Tae with sad eyes...? Not sympathy but sadness. That's what I like about him,but not more than friends of course. He does not help people out of sympathy but the kindness in him.
Tae kept looking down and I just felt like going towards him and hug his small and petite waist and body to comfort his fragile-like condition. He was shaking,his whole body was. I could guess that he's not used to meeting new people. He was playing with the hem of his shirt. A habit of his I guess. He just look so cute like that like a little child. "Kook? You okay?" Jin hyung asked,snapping me out of my dazed like state. I looked at him and said "Huh?? Oh,yeah! Yeah I'm okay!" "You sure??" "Uh-huh!!" I replied.
He still look unconvinced but complied when I gave him my bunny smile towards him. I look towards where Tae is at and he was sitting in between Jimin and Yoongi hyung. To say I wasn't jealous would be a lie. I was extremely jealous of them cause they could seat beside him...though he does look uncomfortable. I patted his shoulder and he looked at me with a cute puppy like confuse face and I couldn't help but to chuckle at that.
I asked him without letting my voice out asking if he wanted to seat beside me. His eyes lighten up and look towards me with hopeful eyes. I chuckled and gave him a soft smile and said to Jimin "Hey Jimin,let Tae seat beside me,will ya?" Jimin poured but complied with my request when he saw Tae's hopeful and shining eyes. No one can resist that!! I asked him when he sat beside me and was looking at my lips of course, "Wanna be our new friend??" H looked up to me and we both made eye contact.
"Can I? Won't I be a burden or annoying??" Asked Tae. I was shocked and my heart broke when he said that. I shooked my head and said "Of course not!! Infact,we would love it if you'd be our friend!!" I said and smiled at him. His eyes glistened after what I said and tears flowed down his pretty face. I panicked but then hugged him and comforting him.
My and his heart were beating at the same rhythm fast and steady. He hugged back but not before nodding his head in acceptance.
"Okay!! I'll be your new friend!!"
