Five years later...

Taehyung's Pov

I opened my eyes to see Jungkook sleeping peacefully. I took my hearing aid and put it in my ear. I stared at Kookie's sleeping face. I giggled and pecked his lips and was about to back away when he suddenly kissed me deeply. I was shocked at first, but then responded with a smile. We broke apart and stared at each other silently.

"Morning, Kookie..." I whispered and he just chuckled and said "Morning, Tae." After awhile, I smacked his chest softly and asked "When were you even awake?" Kookie grinned and said "Long enough to feel you staring, hear your melodious giggle and pecking my lips!" I blushed and whined while smacking his chest again.

He just chuckled and tightened his hold on me and hovered his other arm above my baby bump, when our bedroom door suddenly opened. We both instantly sat up and looked to see Jeon Hyunjung, our son, waddled inside the room while his right hand was rubbing his sleepy eyes with his cute little fist and his left arm held his brown bear stuffy tightly.

"Awwweeeee! My baby Jungie is awake~ Good morning, baby..." I said in a baby tone while standing up, to pick him up in my arms and sit him on my lap. He put his head on my left shoulder while his arms held my shirt tightly. Hyunjung mumbled a sleepy "Hmm, 'orning, mommy. Jungie hungwy.." I cooed at him and said "Aweee..! Does Jungie want strawberry pancake?"

At the mention of his favourite strawberry pancake, he instantly looked up at me and nodded his head enthusiastically with sparkling eyes. "Jungie wove stwabewwy pancwake!!" I chuckled at his cuteness and nodded my head. "Why don't you go freshen up with daddy? So when Jungie comes down, your favourite strawberry pancake will be ready to be eaten by Jungie, yeah?" Hyunjung nodded his head and made grabby hands at Jungkook.

I turned to Jungkook to see him looking at me and Jungie with love. I blushed and smiled at him while giving Jungie to him. He took Jungie into his arms kissed his nose, making him giggle. Jungkook looked at me and said "Make sure you don't overwork yourself. You still have to remember that you're three months pregnant, babe." Jungkook told me in a concerned tone.

I smiled and said "Dont worry, the baby and I will be fine. Cause we are both strong!" I winked at him while trying to show him my non-existent muscles and smiled widely. Jungkook chuckled and said "Well, that wasn't the case four years ago..!" I was then reminded of what had happened four years ago. Back then, I was three months pregnant with Hyunjung.

Flashback

No One's Pov

"Tae, are you alright? You look pale. Shouldn't you stay at home? You have to think of your pregnant self too, you know?" said Irene, the waitress at the cafe Taehyung works at and Taehyung's close co-worker friend. "I'm fine, Irene. Just tired. Once I rest on my lunch break, I'll be as good as new..!" Tae smiled at her. She just sighed and side eyed him before reluctantly went to take the customer's order.

In the evening, Jungkook got a call from Irene. "Hello, Irene? What's up?" "Tae is up! Jungkook! He fainted! He fucking fainted!! We're at the hospital right now!" at that, Jungkook instantly ran out of his office, ignoring his secretary and his worker's weird looks on him and went to his car and drove to the hospital.

Flashback ended

Taehyung's Pov

I smiled sheepishly at the memory and said "I promise that the same thing won't happen, again." He looked at me with fond eyes and sighed softly. "You'd better be. I almost lost my mind, thinking that I had lost both you and baby Hyunjung... " Jungkook trailed off and looked down. I looked at him with teary eyes and walked towards him, standing right in front of him.

"Jungkook..." I put my right palm on his left cheek and he rubbed his cheek on it while looking at me with fear in his eyes. I rubbed his cheek with my thumb softly and whispered "I promise to stop and take a rest when I don't feel good. I'll even let you take care of me." He looked me in the eye and smiled softly. He touched my hand on his cheek and kissed my palm and whispered "Ok..."

I smiled, then our staring and lovely moment was interrupted when Hyunjung sleepily said "Daddy, huwwy... I need to gwet weady and mommy needs to make my stwabewwy pancwake once we're done..." Jungkook and I chuckled at him and we broke apart. But I was able to steal a peck on his lips before running out of the room, giggling.

No One's Pov

Jungkook stood there in shock and snapped out of it when he heard Taehyung's lovely giggles. He smiled adoringly at his husband's cute antics and walked out of the room towards Hyunjung's to bathe him and brush his teeth before going down to eat breakfast.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was humming random songs while making pancakes for the three of them when there was a sudden knock on the front door. He frowned and turned the stove off and went to the front door. He looked at the peep hole and saw his hyungs and noona outside. He looked surprise but nonetheless, smiled while opening the front door.

Taehyung's Pov

"Hey Tae! Sorry we came unannounced... but we were all dying to see Jungie again..! Heheh..." noona said, sheepishly. I chuckled and said that it was ok and let them all in. "Seat down, Jungie is getting freshened up with Kookie." I said and walked into the kitchen to continue cooking the pancakes. Once I was finally done cooking all of it, I heard the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs.

I instinctively smiled while cutting the strawberries for Jungie's pancake. When I was done preparing Hyunjung's strawberry pancake, I heard his voice screaming "UNCLES!!! AUNTIE Y/N!!!" I chuckled at his cuteness and went out with a tray of tea. Jungkook looked at me and smiled. He took the tray and whispered at my ear "Go get freshen up, I'll be here waiting."

I blushed and nodded. He chuckled and kissed the side of my head and I excused myself before going upstairs. I showered, brushed my teeth and washed my face. I wore my comfortable clothes, which was Jungkook's big hoodie that reached just above my knees and a black sweatpants. After I was done, I went downstairs and joined the hyungs, noona, Hyunjung and Kookie for breakfast.

Along with little Mingi and Joonseok. After, we just sat at the living room while talking and watching Hyunjung playing with Mingi and Joonseok at his play area. We all smiled at the sight. I looked at the people in front me and felt content. I could have never asked for more.

After all, Kookie had given me the chance to let me hear again. I would have still felt happy by being able to stay by his side, but I would have still felt remorse if I couldn't hear my baby Hyunjung's voice and my husband's I love you's. I smiled and joined in on their conversation with my head on Jungkook's left shoulder and his left arm wrapped around me and his right arm on my baby bump. We were all smiling happily and content with our lives.
