How Deaf People Feels

JUNGKOOK'S POV

"Umm...can someone keep tabs with me about what's going on??" Tae said and that's when realization hits me. I didn't tell him about what's happening and just dragged him here. Stupid Jungkook. I turned around to look at him and explained everything that's happening right now while he intensely looking at my lips.His face lit up and said that he understood now.

"You guys ate,yet?" Hobi hyung and I turned towards y/n unnie and we both chorused the word 'no' in sync. I looked back at Tae and he was looking at me with his confused face and with his big adorable puppy like eyes. I cooed at him and pinched his cheeks. "Ahn~~ Kookie-ah~~! Shtop~! It hwurts~~!!" He whined and I stop.My heart is beating so loud that I thought even Tae could hear...

Tae and I are at the couch while Hobi hyung and y/n unnie are at the kitchen,cooking obviously. Tae was listening to something,so I took an earphone out of Tae's other ear and put it in mine instead. But then,I realised that he wasn't listening to any songs. It was silent. No sound coming out at all. That made me think like, 'so this is what deaf people feels like.

Silence...that's all there is to hear. I can't help but to think what Tae actually feels about it. Tae and I was cuddling, and I hugged him even tighter and he snuggled closer to me. I smiled though he couldn't see it, I still smiled like an idiot I am. Then, Hobi hyung and y/n unnie came in and settled the foods on the coffee table. Tae licked his lips and his eyes were sparkling as he sees mac and cheese being served.

I chuckled and scooped up a big three spoons on the plate. Tae looked at me and I put up a spoon at the same level as his lips and he blushed. He took the bite by saying 'ahh~~'. He was munching on his foods cutely and smiled widely at me. Then, he opened up his mouth again, asking for more. I just chuckled and gave him more of the mac and cheese. I'm glad that he's enjoying his food. I ate while watching him eating happily. I haven't felt this way in a very long time.

I used to be someone who loves to smile but, since that incident, I've never showed any emotions. We finished dinner and Hobi hyung and I had to go back since it's already late. Tae was pouting and kept on asking if we really couldn't stay and I told him that we still had stuff to do in our respective home. He looked at us sad and made both of us promise him to stay the next time we come over. We both smiled at him and linked our pinky finger to his to seal the promise.

He smiled at us and waved goodbye. Hobi hyung and I are walking silently.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Jungkook broke the comfortable silence between him and Hobi by asking

"Hey hyung, what do you think Tae feels when he could only hear silence and not noises??"

"I don't know. Why you ask?" 

"Nothing. Just, curious. Cause when I heard silence, I felt alone, scared, left out, and also not wanting to talk to people since all I hear is silence. I also had this urge on wanting to listen to how the people's voice sounds like. Do the way they laugh sounds like music to my ears? Will I be able to stand tall with all of the insults thrown at me? Will I even hear my lovers 'I love you's' again and again? Well, that's my thoughts. What about yours?"

Hoseok looked at Jungkook in disbelief. He was contemplating on whether the guy he's walking with right now,is really the Jungkook he knew. Or was it because of Tae. But he still answered him nonetheless.

"I don't know...but I think, if you feel like that, then you should make sure that Tae does not feel the same. You love him,right?"

"Yeah...I do. But I don't know if he feels the same,tho..."

"Dude! He's definitely in love with you! I mean, look at how he's looking at you! It was full of love, full of want and all those shits. He too must have thought the same as you. One of you will have to be confident and confess. And I suggest that you'll be the one,to confess,first."

"Thanks. I'll try and will. Promise."

They both were all smiles and was even teasing each other. Both got home safely and was met with and angry eomma...

"Where did you two go? Why are you home at this time,huh?"
