Notice Me- Love Simon Entry

Dear World,

You don't know me. You've looked at me, but never saw me. You've heard my voice, but never listened. You've never known me.

It doesn't mean you'll never get the chance though. I'm still here and so are you. So just... notice me.

I know I'm quiet but I like to talk. It's just, no one wants to listen. I could make you laugh if you gave me the chance. But you have to hear me.

I am average. My clothes aren't stylish but they're not old fashioned. I might be pretty but no one's ever told me. You could be the first to say it if you want. You just have to see me.

No one is okay with being overlooked. People who are routinely never noticed won't jump up and say, "I'm here!" So people assume they're fine with being "just there." Just because they don't say anything. Please notice me.

I'm here. I'm important. They say quiet people have the loudest minds. So don't you want to know what's going through my head? All the ideas, thoughts, and memories? Just ask.

I am the face in the crowd that no one knows. I'm the kid in school that eats alone. I am the wallflower at the party.
