Chapter 9- The Doomsday Project

"Morning guys." Tails yawned out. He looked around and saw the cell, the glass in place of jail bars, and the other guy's cells. "oh, we are in cells.." Tails once again said in a tired voice.

"We are in cells!!" Tails finally snapped into it. Waking everyone else up. All except Sonic, Shadow and Silver. Everyone started freaking out, finding out that they're in cells. "Is everybody here?" Yelled knuckles.

Everyone looks around. "I don't see Sonic, Silver or Shadow!"

"H-huh..?" Silver wakes up to say. He looks around and sees he's on the right, Sonic in the middle and Shadow in the left. They were on inclined strapped tables. By then Sonic and Shadow are awake now too.

"Wakey wakey." Said a dark voice. All three of the hedgehogs gasped when they saw him walk in. "Remember me?" Mephiles said and laughed. "You!" Yelled Silver. And he started to struggle.

"Who else? The fat guy is dead, who did you think was gonna take his place..?" He said with a evil grin. "Well I was his superior to begin with." All three of the hedgehogs looked at him with snarls.

"I'll just cut to the chase. You three have bandages around your wrists, because I put something in you. A device. It makes your Super ability contagious. Just to you three." He exclaimed.

"Why do you want our Super ability?!" Shadow yelled. Mephiles levitated over to Shadow. He grabs him by the neck and pulls him close. "Because, I have a machine that is going to harvest your ability. And since it's contagious, I only have to make one of you full of rage and anger to start the sequence."

They were all praying he wouldn't pick Shadow because of his anger issues. Mephiles read their thoughts. "No, I'm not picking him. I want to work to get it going. Picking Shadow would make it to easy." He explained.

He leaves into the hall towards the prison cells. A girl begins to scream. Silver noticed it as Blaze's voice. "Get your hands off her you ignorant freak!" He starts yelling.

She's tied up and he sits her on her knees infront of the three. She's crying and screaming,"Silver don't do what he wants!" "Oh he's gonna do what I want. He just doesn't know it can. And he won't be able to help it." Mephiles cackled.

"I swear if you touch her I'll-" Mephiles speeds over to him and puts his claws on Silvers chest. "You'll what? You'll what boy? I'm invincible after I do this." He pointed out. "Do what!" Silver yelled. A short pause went on as he walked over to a table a pulled out a sword.

"This." He said. He grabbed the sword, and stabbed it through Blaze's abdomen. The blade went through her back and through the spot above her stomach and under her breasts.

"No! No no no no!" Silver cried. "No, Blaze!" He started crying even harder. Sonic and Shadow just out their heads down in sadness. He releases Silver, and puts him and Blaze into a hard glass cell.

He lays her head in his lap. He starts petting her with tears coming down from his eyes. "N-noo..." He whispered under his tears. He stroked his finger along Blazes cheek. And he put his hand on her chest, hoping for a pulse.
