Chapter 15- Silver Vs. Mephiles

Sonic jumped out of nowhere onto Mephiles, covered in blood and cuts. And pins Mephiles on the ground. " get up now!" Sonic said sarcastically. Mephiles kicked Sonic with his spikes in Sonic's chest, where his poisoned cuts were.

Sonic screamed in agony, where he passed out. Mephiles kicked his head to keep him down. He turned and looked at Silver, who was just starting to get up. The rest of the team ran from the trees where their jets crashed. They all had guns and started to fire. But Silver butted in. "No! This is my fight!" Then a big horde of robots flew to the team.

"Silver... You disappoint me." He punched him in the face. " I remember you having more skill. More, intimidation." He said happily. "Well, we all gotta go sometime.." Silver said through blood dripping from his mouth.

His talk distracted Mephiles, and he used his powers to pick up a shard of metal and stabbed Mephiles. Mephiles screamed in pain. He fell down. Not moving. Not a muscle.

Sonic crawled over to Silver. He helped him get up. They were both injured, but could still get each other up through will power. They're both standing up, and hugged each other. The others were done with the robots as well. So all seemed happy again.

But Sonic saw a light out of the top of his eye. He looked up, and it was a laser being fired at him. He stood still with fear not knowing what to do. He covered his face with his left arm. Thinking of death. But moments later he opened his eyes, and the beam was gone. But he found Silver laying down on the hard dirt.

"No. No, no , no! Silver!" Sonic screamed and cried. The whole team ran over towards Silver, laying on the ground. "Cream gasped and dug her face into Shadow's shoulder. Shadow let her hug him. "Hahahahaha. Hahahahahahaha!" Laughed Mephiles. "You aren't going to get out of that one." He laughed and said.

Then a bullet went through his chest, and he fell down. For good. Knuckles was behind him standing there, with a smoking rifle. He then saw Silver bleeding terribly. He ran over to him with the others. "S-sonic I-" "no. Don't say anything." Sonic said crying. "No, you need to hear t-this." Silver suffered to say.

"You were right. Y-you're like my brother." Sonic hand shook him the style they did the night before. Sonic's face we just covered in tears. "Hey k-Knux. You were right... I-I found p-peace..." He said faintly. Even knuckles began to cry. Rouge went over to him to hug him.

" no I-it's okay. I found my peace. I get to s-see Blaze again." He smiled. His hand slid out of Sonic's. Amy ran up and hugged Sonics neck. It was all over. Silver is at peace, and Mephiles is dead for good.
