Chapter 5- The Return

"A-Amy?" Sonic says. He whips on the sheets and blankets to reveal bandages all around his torso to his neck. Amy wakes up to see her hero alive. "Oh Sonic! I thought that poison was gonna kill you!" "Poison?" He questions. "When you got scratched there was poison in that creatures claws." "Well I pulled through now didn't I?" He playfully said as he gave Amy a smile. She continued to lay her hear in his chest, and he petted her so they're both comfortable and happy.

"Did you set the explosives?"

"Yes my master."

"Excellent. Blow the charges."

"With pleasure."

"Do you think Sonic is awake yet?" Said Knuckles. "I'm not sure, but we should let those two be alone together." Replied Blaze. Rouge runs behind the couch where Knuckles and Cream are sitting, and jumps over it. She lands right besides Knuckles, and starts getting close to him. He puts his arm around her as she puts her hand on his chest.

"Get a room you two." Blaze said with fun. Rouge looked at her and winked. Knuckles just groaned as usual. A silent "tick tick tick tick tick" noise was going off. Silver looks under his chair. He feels some mechanism. He gets up and lifts up the chair. He sees a circular device with a red blinking build on it. With spikes digging into the floor. "Wait a minute." He says as he puts his ear to hear the ticking. " it's a bomb!" He yells as he grabs Blaze Wedding style and jumps over the other sofa. Knuckles Rouge ad Cream hop over the couch.

"Bboooommm!" The first charge explodes. Destroying the floor they were on. Then the next charge went off. And the next. And the next. The whole house was crippled to nothing but shards and rubble.

Off at a distance another creature that has the same look as the attacking one, looks over a hill.

"Good riddance." He said then laughed insanely. "The world will soon know, that Mephiles is back."
