Im Ahyoung's POV
I cleaned myself up and sat on jaemin's bed, drying my hair off. Well I am safer now but that doesn't mean it's all over, I sighed.
I looked around the room and saw another bed in the corner of his room. Then I remembered jaemin told me his roommate was jeno. I shrugged and looked back at his bed and saw a plushie. psh, this little kid really kept this plushie I gave him, I chuckled as I held the plushie in my hands.
'ahyoung?' I heard jaemin's voice from outside the door. 'yes?' I replied. 'can i come in?' he asked. 'yeah i'm done' i said. 'hey we have a lot to discuss' he said. 'and we need to go to the company to settle this out' he added. I nodded in response while he came and sat beside me.
I laid my head on his shoulders. 'i'm so sorry i dragged you into this mess, ruining your reputation and possibly your career' i said with tears threatening to fall. 'hey we're in this together so don't say that' he said and kissed my head. He pulled me closer by his side and we stayed like that for awhile.
'jaemin, it's time to go to the company' someone said from outside. 'are you sure you wanna go?' he asked which I nodded. 'let's go then' he said. Before we went out of there, I pulled his arm and held both of his hands in mine.
I stared into those brown eyes that I love very much. 'whatever happens today, please choose the best choice for you, i'll just go with the flow' I said. 'even if you have to let me go-' 'what no!' he exlaimed cutting me off.
'no listen to me, do it if you have too, i'll be okay. i promise you i'll be okay. do anything you have to do to make sure you don't loose your job' i said.
'no, look yes i love my job but the amount of love i have for you equals the same to the amount of love i have for my job' he said. 'my life won't balance out without you in it, please understand that' he said.
'i won't risk anything to loose you' he added. 'jaemin please, just promise me you'll listen to me' i said. 'no can do' he shrugged. 'god jaemin please' i begged. 'i'll do whatever it take to save both of you and my job, sounds good?' he smiled.
'when will you ever listen to me?' i sighed. 'never!' he smiled and swiped my nose with his finger. 'fine let's go' i said. 'but! if i ever know you lost your job, i'm gonna go in there and save it for you, even if it risks my life' i said sternly.
'uuu aggresive woman' he cooedㅡchuckling. 'ah really this guy' I sighed looking up at the ceiling and back at him. 'okay end of discussion let's go or we'll be late' he said and dragged me out of the room.
'hey we charged your phone for you' mark said and handed me my phone. 'thank you so much' i said as i took my phone from his hands. 'oh by the way this is ahyoung and ahyoung this is nct dream as you know' jaemin said.
'hey' 'nice to finally meet you' 'helloo' everyone said at once that i didn't know who said what. 'eat this in the car, both of you' renjun said and handed a paperbag to jaemin.
'okay you kids please behave at home while i take jaemin and ahyoung to the company alright?' their manager said and got out of the dorm.
'alright' they answered. 'we'll have proper introduction whenever we see you again' jisung smiled. 'will do' i smiled. The three of us rode their managers car and went to the company.
Na Jaemin's POV
Honestly speaking, I was so nervous and my heart was beating like crazy. What would happen when we arrive at the company? What does fate has in mind for us right now?
I acted all tough in front of ahyoung because i knew for sure she was terrified to death and had been beating herself up for this. I couldn't bare the thought of that.
We arrived shortly and immediately went to the ceo's office. I knocked on the door and the three of us came in. The ceo looked at us and said 'mister lee please leave us for awhile' and with that my manager left without a word. 'sit down please' he said.
'firstly i'm very dissapointed in you' he said looking at me. 'you clearly knew you had a contract that strictly said no dating allowed' he added.
'anyone who goes against the contract would have their contract be called off immediately and banned to ever step foot in this building' he said after reading some piece of paper on his desk.
'you cannot do that' ahyoung said obviously furious. 'ahyoung no' i said and held her back. 'well technically i can' he said.
'so Na Jaemin, I'm supposed to call off your contract' he said which drove ahyoung crazy. 'what no! please give him another chance, please i'm begging you' she said and got up from her chair.
'ahyoung stop it, remember what we discussed' i said getting up and looking at her in the eyes. We made eye contact for a solid 10 seconds before we both sat back down.
'but' he said. 'i'm not gonna do that' he added. 'i believe there's more in jaemin and this contract deal of no dating is to avoid any controversial but i can't stop him from dating, i can't stop anyone from falling in love' he continued.
'it wasn't his choice to fall in love too i believe, it just happens and you can't stop it once you're in love. i know' he said.
'so I did a lot of thinking and had decided with a decision' he said. 'I don't know if you two will like it or not but I will stay with my decision and that's period' he added.
'This news had brought a lot of trouble as you can see and i'm very shocked myself but I have decided to bring your relationship..' he said and a took a deep breathe. 'I'm bringing it to the public' he added.
'there's no use denying when the picture of you two is crystal clear. we're having a press conference this evening and you two will only give a statement and answer a few question, that's all' he said.
'and I'm allowing you two to continue dating or else he'd be really sad and that will not be good for his health and that could effect his career' he added. 'and i don't want that to happen to any of my artists' he continued.
'you two understand what i'm trying to say right? are you guys still on the same page as me?' he asked. 'yes we understand' we both answered.
'alright that's all i have to say. you two will be quarantined in a waiting room til the press conference begins' he said and dismissed us both.
