Na Jaemin's POV

After she had calmed down, she went to the toilet to wash her face and I followed her just in case anything happens.

She wiped her face with a dry towel and put the towel in a basket nearby. She turned around towards me—sadness written all over her face and my heart broke into two, again. I opened my arms and she quickly buried her face into my chest again—hugging me like the whole wide world depends on it.

'please don't cry again, it breaks my heart seeing you like this' I said softly before wrapping my arms around her securely. 'I'm sorry—' she whispered.

'no don't apologise, it's not your fault. just,' I let out a deep breathe. 'just don't blame yourself for what happened, it's not your fault alright. so don't beat yourself up for anything' I said.

'I'll try not too, I promise' she whispered loud enough for me to hear her. 'good' I smiled and hugged her tighter.

'I know you think that the world doesn't matter anymore, I know you think like giving up is the only option left, I know you think that it's better to quit but no, you are wrong. the world still matters, giving up is not an option and quitting is not a better thing to do' I said.

I loosened my grip around her and placed both of my hands on her arms. 'you got this' I smiled. 'fight for yourself, you are worth it and you're not alone. I'm here with you and I'll be with you every step of the way and most importantly I'm not planning on leaving you alone, ever' I added before I pulled her into my embrace again.

I gave her the biggest hug I could ever offer in hopes to channel her some strength she could use for herself. 'you are strong and you shall not give up' I kissed her head slowly before letting her go. 'come on let's go' I said and gave her the biggest smile ever. She smiled weakly and nodded.

We got out of the house and I held on her bag pack as she locks the doors. We rode a cab back to my house because there was quite a distance between our houses.

'hey' i called her making her focus turned to me. 'just so you know, my house is not as big as yours but its cozy though, at least i think so too—' 'jaemin-ah' she said cutting me off from continuing to ramble.

'can we just not talk about it?' she asked softly. 'yeah yeah sure i'm sorry' i said which she just nodded before she leaned her head on my shoulders—getting comfortable.

yah jaemin-ah you fool, should have kept your mouth shut when you still could, i thought and mentally face palmed myself.

After five minutes or so, we finally arrived at my house. We got off and i paid the cab fair before heading in with Ahyoung.

'welcome to my crib!' I smiled which I managed to make her slightly chuckle. My smile became slightly wider and my heart just melted. she literally just slightly chuckle, if she ever laughs I'd probably be dead by then, I thought.

'nana is that you?' I heard my mom's voice from the kitchen. 'yeah I'm home' I replied. 'with ahyoungie' I added. 'oh right!' she squealed and quickly came towards where we were. 'welcome to our house ahyoung' my mom smiled.

'make yourself at home and if you ever need anything you can ask me or jaemin for it' my mom continued. 'thank you Ms. Na' ahyoung smiled weakly. 'you're always welcome here honey' my mom smiled and pulled Ahyoung for a quick hug.

'nana you can go show ahyoung her room and unpack or whatever then come down for dinner alright' my mom said. 'will do' I said. 'you'll be staying at the guest room, will that be okay for you?' my mom asked Ahyoung. 'that's fine' ahyoung replied.

'it's this way' I smiled and began climbing up the staircase as she followed behind me.

'here we are' I said after twisting the door knob and entering the guest room. She plopped her bag on the bed and looked around. 'it looks cozy' she smiled weakly.

'you should freshen up and I'll see you downstairs alright' I smiled. 'will do' she nodded. 'come here' I smiled and opened my arms which she walked towards me and wrapped her arms around me. I embraced her and snuggled my head on her shoulders.

'don't be too long, I'll miss you too much' I said in a cute voice and chuckled which she hit my chest and chuckled along. 'I'll make sure to take my time' she said which I frowned.

'nana-yah' my mom yelled from downstairs. 'yeah?' I answered. 'let her freshen up in peace, come down and help me instead' my mom said.

'you should listen to your mom' she chuckled. 'will do princess, be careful and don't take too long okay' I smiled and quickly went downstairs.

wherever that courage came from, tone it down a little bit will ya, I thought.
