My Long Lost Love

Chapter Five

He cries for the whole ride up, shaking sobs. Izzy keeps trying to calm him down, looking at me for help, I shrug my shoulders, I feel helpless. She is hugging him and patting his back.

"Where should we go? I don't think he wants the boys to know about this."

I nod my head. "Your room, theyr'e probably still in ours." I mumble.

"Good idea. I'll go in first and close the lockoff door.You can stay in the hall with Niall." Niall, where have I heard this name before? The elevator doors open and we step out into the hall. I realize that I was just in an elevator, a chill runs down my spine. Izzy walks over to her room and steps inside. I'm left standing next to Niall, his eyes are red and puffy but he has regained his composure.

"Niall? Is that your name?" I say touching his shoulder gently. He flinches, but stays where he was standing.

"You promised you would never forget. I-I-I." He looks at me sadly.

"I'm sorry, this might sound weird but you may have been in my past life."

"What?" He asks looking confused.

"I was in a car accident a few years back. I lost my memories of family and friends. My mother and brother died."

"Jerad. He died?" I nod my head slowly and this brings a new round of tears, Izzy isn't back yet so I find myself helpless again. This time I find the confidence somewhere in me to hug him. To really hug him. He hugs me back tightly, he is squeezing the air out of my body, but I let him. This feels so familiar but I don't know this boy. I need to find out who he is.
