Chapter 21

"No way!" Alexis gasped as I explained everything that happened at the event last night.

"Dude, I know!" I squeled.

"So Ariana literally follows you now?"

"Yes! And she said we should meet up sometime, like what?!" I cheered.

"That's insane."

Life has been really good lately. Shawn and I are best friends again, my music career is about to take off, I'm slowly becoming more famous, and I'm now friends with my idol. It can't get better than this.

"The only thing is I saw a bunch of comments saying I'm using Shawn for fame." I said sadly.

"But you're not Elle? He literally begged you to go last night." She said seriously.

"I know, I know. I just don't want it to seem like that because I'm not. I'm just trying to help him."

"Don't let the hate get to you. It just comes with the fame you're starting to get and all the thirteen year olds are mad you're hanging out with their idol." She tried making me laugh.

I let out a small giggled and shrugged, she was right.

As Alexis and I were picking a movie to watch my door bell rang, meaning our take out was here. We are having a much needed girls night. I've been so busy lately.

"Dinner is served." I said in a french accent as I walked into my kitchen with the bags of our food.

While we were watching our movie as we ate my phone lit up displaying Kims name. Incoming call. I quickly hit the green answer button.

"Hello?" I said over the line.

"I have good news."

"What is it?" I couldn't help but grin.

"Your Youtube video has done so well in the past week that Andrew and I decided a music video will be appropriate!"

"No f-ing way!" I cheered.

"Congratulations Elle!"

"Thank you so much Kim!" Then I hung up and immediately texted Shawn.

To Shawn: MUSIC VIDEO IS ON!!! lets make this video everything you dream of and more!!!!

Shawn: Andrew just told me! I can't wait. Ready to have the coolest music video ever?!?

I hopped in my car to go to my meeting for the music video the next day. I am so excited to start this process. This will be my first music video ever.

"I'm here!" I sang as I walked through the meeting rooms doors.

"Oh great." Shawn said sarcastically.

I shot him a death stare before taking my seat next to Kim.

"Okay, time to get serious." Kim said as she pulled out a bunch of papers.

"The music video, what are you two thinking?" Andrew asked us.

I looked at Shawn, then back at Andrew and shrugged.

"I know Shawn has a lot of ideas about the music video." I stated.

We all turned our attention to him.

"What are your thoughts?" Andrew questioned.

"I just want it to be dramatic because after all it is a pretty intense song. I was thinking it could incorporate a lot of weather elements; like wind, rain, fog, and snow would be really cool." He explained as Kim wrote everything he was saying down.

"A cool concept could be like the two of us trying to be close together, but never actually making it to one another. That kind of interprets the lyrics. I don't know how we could do that though?" I chimed in.

"I like the direction this is going in. I'm writing all of this and we'll take it to a director and see what they can do with it." Kim said as she scribbled the rest of what I said on a notepad.

Shawn and I both nodded and then the meeting concluded.

"Don't make plans next Monday, April thirtieth. I am performing at this event with several other artists for charity." Shawn asked as we were walking out together.

"You just assume I don't have anything better to do?" I joked.

"I know you don't." He laughed.

I swatted his arm as I rolled my eyes.

"I'll be there, I guess." I said sarcastically.
