It has been three days since Shawn and I filmed the music video. I have just kept to myself and put my emotions into lyrics. The best therapy there is.
Shawn and I haven't seen one another and our communication hasn't been the best. There's definitely this awkward front between us two because of whatever happened at the shoot for I Know What You Did Last Summer, but today we have a meeting with Andrew and Kim.

"Hey guys." I said as I walked into the room, the last one to arrive.
"She lives!" Kim joked since she hasn't seen me in three days.
I laughed softly as I took a seat next to Shawn.
"What have you been up to the last few days?" Shawn asked.
It isn't like us to not be together every day or not know what is going on in the others life the days we aren't together.
"I've just been writing." I shrugged.
"Anything you want to take to the studio later?"
"It's not quite there yet." I lied.
I was planning on taking it to the studio, just not with him. The song is about my feelings I'm experiencing with him right now.
I don't know if I necessarily like him because he's my best friend and it's weird to me. It's very confusing because I have never had a single thought about being more than friends with him for the three years we have known one another, but then out of nowhere I just get slammed with all these emotions and feelings.
I don't want to jeopardize our friendship in any way. It means too much to me. I don't even know how he is feeling about the whole situation either. We haven't spoken a word about it which I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
He slowly nodded. Then Kim spoke up to get everyone's attention.
"So the song comes out in exactly a week from today, which is very exciting." She started.
And scary.
"Andrew and I have met with a few people and the following day of the release you will have a radio interview with Kiss 101 FM. Basically you are just doing it to get them to play your song on the radio." She explained.
"Someone already wants to interview us about the song?" I asked, shocked.
"Of course. Welcome to the big league, girl scout." Andrew joked.
"Then about a week after the songs been out we will release the music video because the excitement will start to decrease by that time frame. From there we will hope for the best and see how much this song takes off." Kim finished.
"Sounds good to me." Shawn said as he leaned back in his chair.
"I agree." I added.
"Thats all you two have to say? Where's the excitement?" Kim asked with confused eyes, knowing something was up.
"I am excited, just stressed about my personal music." I explained, halfly telling the truth.
I was nervous about releasing my own single soon, but Shawn and I aren't just acting weird because of that.
"You don't need to stress, you're music is so good Elle." Shawn said very seriously, looking in my eyes. I felt my stomach flutter.
Why? Why is he having this effect on me?
"Thank you." I smiled.

"Elle, wait up!" Shawn called as I was about to get in my car after the meeting ended.
"What's up?" I turned as I leaned on the side of my car.
Is he finally going to bring what happened up?
"I have a preposition for you." He grinned.
"Okay?" I said in a questioning voice.
"After our song comes out life is going to get busy and stressful for a while. So, I thought a nice relaxing vacation beforehand would be a good idea." He said as he pulled two plane tickets out of his jacket pocket.
I stood there in awe as I took a plan ticket from his hand to look at it; Havana, Cuba.
"We would leave tomorrow and come back the day before our song release. I know I didn't give you a lot of time to prepare, but I think we need it." He continued as I studied the ticket.
We need it?
"I'm in." I smirked at him.
"Really?" His smile grew.
"We're going to Cuba!" I cheered as I brought him in for a hug.
There's that feeling again.
The hug lasted longer than usual and as I pulled back to break the hug he looked deep into my eyes. We held eye contact for a few seconds before he shifted his gaze to the floor.
"Well I'll see you tomorrow afternoon then." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"See you tomorrow." I flashed a smile and climbed into my car.
Shawn and I are going on a vacation alone and we still haven't talked about what happened.
