harper's p.o.v "i want you to be my girlfriend" i let the words sink in, play in my head. i look up to him tucking in a piece of hair around my ear. my mouth started to curve up into a smile. "eth? are you being serious?" i said perking up a bit.
It had been a few days since ethan asked me the question. At the time I was happy he asked but I told him 'I'm complicated, I promise you don't want this'. After I told him that he said he'd wait until ready and left.
I didn't really understand why he wanted to be with me. What was so special about me?
*6:46am* I woke up early to silence which was weird. Curiosity flooded in my head. I walked down stairs finding myself a note. 'Harper Me and the kids have gone to visit dad for 3 week in Australia. I decided to leave you here because I trust you and I know this year is important at school.'
To be honest. I think I needed some time alone.
I travelled to my bathroom to shower and get ready for school. I tuned on my Spotify listening to xxxtentacion.
As I got out I got a message.
iMessage from... Ethan: Hey harper I know we haven't spoken much but can I take you to school?
I hovered over my phone whilst I applied my carmex to finish my unbothered no makeup look then Jumping into my yellow vans to complete my scruffy look.

I skipped breakfast to meet ethan outside.
*ethans p.o.v* I closed to door behind and crossed the road to harper's. She didn't reply to my message which was a bit weird but I decided to ask her myself. It's been a bit awkward lately but I'm now going to speak to her.
Harper walked out her house and her face was bare so you could still see the bruise. She looked at me and gave me a weak smile while walking towards me. She was wearing a yellow/orange theme today and it suited her made her look more of a skater girl.
She broke the awkwardness by giving me a hug. "I've missed you" she said with her head on my chest.
