Ahri's P.O.V
Something's wrong with Yasuo lately.. He's been acting all weird around me. It's almost as if he was trying to avoid me. I know I shouldn't pry into other people's business, but this has something to do with me right?
I tried talking to Yasuo again today and it was no use. He gave me a smile in return and walked off to somewhere. It's always been like that recently when I talked to him. What did I do?
~FF~
Later that night, I saw a note on my table that was neatly folded in half after I walked out from the shower. Full of curiosity as to who put it there and what was in it, I walked over to the table and picked it up. In a neat handwriting, it said;
Dear Ahri,
Please meet me at the big window in front of our rooms tonight. There's something really important that I need to tell you.
Yasuo.I somehow got really nervous after reading this, especially how he's been avoiding me. Nevertheless, I dried my long, ebony hair and headed out to meet Yasuo. Just outside my room, I could see the outline of Yasuo's body against the pale moonlight of the big window just at the end of the hallway. Time seemed to slow down as I walked towards him, my stomach was filled with butterflies and I hated that feeling. He turned around just as I was a few paces from him. Immediately, my heart sank and the mood changed because in his eyes was a somber look. Silence filled the room for a moment and I wished that I wasn't here.
"Ahri.." Yasuo started. "As you know, there's something I must tell you. It will be hard on you, and I am sorry but I feel that you need to know this.."
"W-What is it?" I asked, more scared than ever. I took a step closer to him, but a force was holding me back.
"Don't come any closer." Yasuo said in a low voice. "You're going to hate me.."
"What is it?!" I said, now getting angry. "Just tell me already!"
"My brother was behind all of it.." Yasuo muttered.
"Behind all of what?!" I replied.
"He was the one who destroyed your village..." Yasuo said it as if he was forcing it out of himself.
"What..." That statement hit me hard. Flashbacks of Chalice stepping into the fire to be with her parents filled my head. I could hear her screams echoing inside of me and it was all too much.
"He was the one who caused the fires in your village." Yasuo continued. "I was sent to go and investigate after it happened since we were a neighbouring village. When I got there, the village was still in flames and I went around to look for any survivors. Unfortunately, you were the only one that survived. To be honest, I was suprised because everything else was burnt to ashes and you were left unharmed. Although, you were unconcious and so I had to carry you out. I took you back to my village to get you patched up. The thing was I told my Elder to tell the nurses to alter your memories a bit. I told them to change it so that it seemed like you just walked out of the village all by yourself and headed to the Capital of Ionia. What actually happened was that we got you patched up and I bought you a store and gave you a room in this hotel. Everything else was real."
I stayed silent as I processed everything in. I tried my best to try to remember what actually happened or even imagine it, but I just couldn't. At last I said, "Then why did you decide to approach me?"
"I vowed to myself to protect you as a way to repay what my brother has done to you." He replied. As soon as he said that tears started to swell around my eyes, but I tried my best to keep them back.
"T-Then, everything that happened between us wasn't real was it?!" I said in a shaky voice and headed back to my room before he could say anything else. Tears finally fell, and I slammed the door behind me. I leaned against it, continuing to cry. Everything that he did, it was just to repay me.. He toyed with my feelings... So, as he said all those things to me back then, he didn't really mean it did he? It was only a way to repay me..
That thought kept on resounding through the walls inside my head, and I was sure that all the feelings I had for him disappeared in an instant but I was wrong. For what happened the next day determined how strong my feelings for him were.

I woke up the next morning to find that things weren't going to be the same way that they were before. I got dressed, but all of a sudden there was a knock on the door. I wasn't sure if I should open it but I did anyways. Out of all the people that I wanted to see, Yasuo was standing at the door. I looked down because I could never look at him in the eye again.
"Ahri..I'm sorry.." He said but I slowly closed the door. I didn't want to see him at all, let alone hear what else he has to say. Let me guess, saying sorry is just another way of repaying me. I waited behind the door for a while, hoping that he left and once I opened the door again he wasn't there anymore. I headed out to go and open my shop when the thought occurred to me.
It wasn't my shop, Yasuo bought it for me so technically it was his. I changed my route and headed to the park and once I was there, I could remember clearly how he was hugging me when I cried that night. Everywhere I went, Yasuo haunted my thoughts. There's a rumor going around that there was a new sheriff in town. Men said that she was a beauty, and the women got along with her really well. Nice looks, nice personality, she's probably the most lovable person of the town. Just looking at her made me sort of despise myself. She didn't have to try so hard to get everyone to like her, it just all came naturally. I had to use my charm in order for people to fall for me...
I sat on a branch, looking at how everyone crowded around the sheriff. She had long, flowly brown hair and was wearing a purple strapless dress and a matching purple top hat which made her look like a steampunk sheriff. She held a long sniping gun on her right and it was approximately the size from the top of her hat to her lower waist. For a moment, she looked up and we made eye contact. She smiled at me but I just continued to stare. I saw Yasuo walk by and the sheriff walked up to him.
"Yasuo!" She said waving at him with a grin.
"Caitlyn? What are you doing here?" He replied with confusion.
"Ah, I got transferred here just to protect the town for a bit. I'll be here for a while, my boss informed that this is just a small test." Caitlyn replied. All of a sudden, she hugged Yasuo and the crowd just started to go crazy. At that moment, I jumped off the tree and left. There was this huge hole inside of me, and I felt like I had stomach ache. I hate Yasuo..then why am I feeling like this?

Yasuo's P.O.V
That hug got me by suprise. I tried to get out of it, but she hugged me tight. I whispered, "Caitlyn..what are you doing?"
"I missed you.." She whispered back. The crowd around us kept 'ooh'ing and 'aah'ing. I finally managed to make her let go, and she looked at me with a smile. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her to somewhere empty, away from the crowd.
"Look, Caitlyn, what we had back then was over. You can't do things like this to me anymore. Anyways, don't you have someone already?" I informed her, and she just looked down at the ground, her mouth pouting.
"I broke up with him already.." She said in a small voice and looked back up at me. She suddenly pulled me in and kissed me. I quickly jerked back and pulled her off of me.
"I told you stop it already!" I said, now getting angry. I walked off, leaving her there. What is wrong with her.. I wiped my mouth, and next thing you know Ahri was there. I was stunned by her presence and I didn't know what to say. Although, she just walked off ignoring me like before. Did she see what happened? I doubt it though..
