The next two days were incredibly mediocre, going to religious sites, taking photos, topping up on our tans and endlessly eating. But luckily this afternoon were flying to Paris.

We arrived at the hotel in France around at 23:30. The rooms were extremely modern and I'm not quite sure how they fit into the budget of the trip (but i also wasn't going to complain about it, the marbled stone bathroom was amazing). I was trying to come to terms with the trip nearly being over which was quite a sad thought but at the same time was trying to make the most out of every waking moment. We got straight into our pajamas and went straight to bed, awaiting our last full day together, tomorrow.

At 6:30 the next morning, i quickly turned my alarm off so i didn't wake Kate and Molly and got first dibs on the bathroom. I thanked myself for laying out an outfit for myself last night because the girls needed their sleep a lot more than me and my suitcase was incredibly loud. I picked out my burgundy velvet pinafore with a white and yellow striped t-shirt to go underneath it. Accompanied by dark denim jacket, gentle curls in my hair, black tights, white frilled socks and my thick black platformed boots. I grabbed my clothes and beauty stuff and headed into the bathroom and began to run the claw footed bath. I added a dollop of the hotels own bubble bath which was in all fairness a bit naff but it would do right now. I sent my snapchat streaks, like i did every morning, just as a photo of the bath and was surprised by the quick reply from dec of almost the same bath set up. 'BITCH! Twins' the caption read. I laughed to myself before enjoying the luxury.

At 9:30, everyone on the trip met in the hotel for breakfast. The usual group of me, Kate, Mol, Dec, Joe and Charlie all clambered onto a table near the back of the room. To my delight the breakfast was self catering so i got my fair share of toast and pastries. Steve came wandering over to the table and handed us €20 each. "right, this is for some dinner. if i find out you've been spending it on stuff other than that i am NOT going to be happy," he pointed his eyes towards Charlie in particular, to which he just hid his face behind his small mug of shit tea. "You've all got a Metro tickets that go all over central Paris. The last one leaves at half ten tonight but please, for the love of god, catch one a bit earlier than that,oh and PLEASE research where the nearest stations are to the places you want to go. I don't think anyone will be very impressed if you have to ask for help again and again in broken french." Charlie posed his head towards him and shot him a dirty look through slit eyes and muttered 'branleur' under his breath. (roughly translates to wanker x). he handed over the wad of tickets to the (in his words) 'the most responsible one', Molly. "Right have fun, don't miss behave because I'm not going to bail you out of french jail if you get arrested. Right if you need me at any time, you've all got my number." he clapped his hands together and smiled, scanning his eyes across each of our silent and senseless with confusion faces, before nodding his head and walking away. We all looked at each other before Katie perked up "uhmm what the fuck just happened? It's too early to function through information like that so quickly." That summed up the whole morning as a whole to be honest.

The whole gang was ready for 10:30 so we met in the reception soon later and head out to the Metro station. The metro station was just like the London Underground so the only partly stressful thing was that all the station names were in french. Kate was hella responsible and saved all of our asses by writing down station names, next to places we wanted to go. The first place we went was the Louvre, so we boarded the cramped train and traveled to 'Chatelet Les Halles' which was the nearest stop. The Louvre was beautiful, i took photos of it on my camera as we arrived and i was extremely excited to see the art inside- i was glad that Charlie was just as excited as i was. We made our way around the several exhibitions and my artistic eye was dumbfounded by each painting and sculpture. The obvious one everyone was excited to see was the Mona Lisa. It was a lot smaller than i expected.
