Darius' POV

Stressful. That is the only word that I can use to describe what today is going to feel like... Stressful. Even though I am confident about tonight, I have a feeling that something is going to go wrong, I have a very strong feeling that tonight is just not going to go as planned but I don't know why.

I stick to what I said about Sharise acting differently, because she is but then I just think about what she's been through in the past few weeks and I let it leave my mind because think about it, if you were kidnapped for days and you come back to your family and friends after days of not seeing them, you're obviously going to feel different and act different to everyone you know, it's only natural.

I was cut out of my thoughts by Sakari sitting on my lap and I smiled and wrapped my arms around her waist and leant my head on her shoulder,

"Hey baby, you okay?"

She nodded, "I'm good but I think it's me who should be asking you that"

I sighed, "I'm fine"

She snorted, "I know those 2 words Darius, trust me, when people say they're fine, they are never fine, so how are you really?"

"I'm so stressed right now, I'm scared"

She turned around on my lap so that she was now straddling me and looked at me confused,

"Why are you scared?"

"If tonight doesn't go as planned, I could lose you" I leant forward and pressed my forehead against hers,

"I don't want to lose you, not now, not ever"

She lifted her hand up and ran it through my hair and I closed my eyes at her touch,

"Remember the day we went bowling and you took me home after what happened?"

I opened my eyes and nodded, "Yeah"

"Remember when I was drifting asleep? And you said something to me just before I fell asleep?"

I smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I remember"

She lifted her other hand up and placed it on my cheek and started caressing it softly with her thumb,

"What did you say?"

"I said that I was never going to let you go, not with the love I feel for you"

She smiled, "Exactly and I'll never let you go, you will never lose me if we both plan to never let each other go"

I gave her a peck on the lips, "I have no idea what I did to deserve you"

"Well, we're mates for a reason, we were meant to be together"

I smiled, "I have no idea what I would do without you, I know that this is going to sound mega cliché but I can't even explain how much I love you, sometimes I'm scared incase I wake up and find that this was all a dream and that you're not really here, I'm scared incase you leave me and I'm scared I'll mess up and you won't love me anymore"

I looked down at my lap but Sakari just tilted my head up so that I was now looking into her eyes,

"Why do you always think like that? You have a tendency to look at the bad side of things"

I shrugged, "I dunno, I've lost a lot of people in my life, my best friend betrayed me with my girlfriend, my sister hates me and my dad isn't who he was before, I can't afford to lose you as well"

She looked at me softly and pressed her lips to mine gently while one of her hands was around my neck and the other was in my hair and I clasped my hands together around her back and pulled her closer to me so that her chest was pressing against mine. I gently bit her bottom lip and she parted her lips for me and I took that as my chance to slip my tongue in her mouth and we started battling for control but I eventually gave up and let her have it. Weirdly enough, the kiss tasted like strawberries,

"You taste sweet" I said against her lips and she smiled but didn't pull away, not that I was complaining though.

I grabbed her waist and lifted her up so that I could place her on the desk and I moved in between her legs so that she could wrap them around my waist.

I pulled away from her and she leant her head in the crook of my neck so I leant down and started to lightly kiss her neck which made her let out a shaky breath. I started to kiss down her neck until I got to her chest but she grabbed my hair and pulled me away,

"Don't you dare"

I gave her a peck on the lips, "I'm sorry baby"

I gave her another light kiss and started to caress her back slowly with my thumb,

"I can never stay mad at you, I hate it"

I chuckled, "Why?"

"Because when I try to stay mad, you go and do something undeniably sweet"

I smiled and leant my head on her shoulder, "Because I love you undeniably"

She sighed contently, "I love you too, so much"

She put her hands on my chest and pushed me back so that I was now sitting on my chair and I looked at her confused,

"What was that for?"

She gave me a smirk, "Remember how I told you that I hate teasing?"

I gulped and nodded, "Sorry?"

She shook her head slowly and hopped off the desk, 

"Not gonna cut it baby"

She moved forward and put one leg on either side of mine so that she was standing over me. She put both of her hands on my chest and leaned forward,

"It's only fair that I return the favour"

She sat down on my lap and swiftly lifted my shirt over my head. She ran her hands over my abs while starting to kiss down my chest and I let out a sharp breath and I could feel her smirk against my chest.

She moved her head up and started kissing up my neck until she got to my ear to which she started to lightly nibble and tug at it which made me close my eyes in pleasure but they immediately snapped open when I felt her hands move down to the front of my jeans,

"I can tell you're enjoying this" She said with a hint of a smile in her voice,

"It's a shame that's all you're getting"

She moved her hands away and stood up and I looked at her shocked before playfully narrowing my eyes at her,

"You better run baby"

She squealed and ran out of my study and I jumped up out of the chair and ran after her and I could hear her laughing from down the hall which made me smile,

'If anyone finds Sakari, catch her'

I heard Sakari scream from the lounge and I smirked,

"Rhylie, let me go!!"

"Sorry Sakari, alphas orders"

I ran into the lounge to see Rhylie holding Sakari by her waist and she was struggling to get out of his grasp,

"I appreciate your help Rhylie, I can take it from here"

He nodded and let Sakari go and practically ran out of the door, making sure to close the door behind him and I looked at Sakari and smirked,

"You really thought you could run away from me?"

I started to walk towards her which just made her walk backwards until I had her up against the wall,

"I always catch you Sakari, us alpha males love a chase, especially when it comes to our beautiful" I pecked her lips, "Gorgeous" I pecked them again, "Breathtakingly" And again, "Stunning mates"

She blushed and looked down but I just tilted her head up to look at me,

"That was a very mean thing you did Sakari"

She smiled, "You started it"

"Getting childish are we?"

"You made me do it, you teased me first"

I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "I was merely trying to please you"

I leant down next to her ear, "I know you enjoyed it"

"I enjoyed it as much as you enjoyed yours"

I smiled, "Yeah but the difference is, I didn't leave you hanging"

She clasped a hand in my hair, "Yeah, the difference is that I left you wanting more, all you have to do is ask baby, and I'm yours"

I leaned back and smirked at her, "Oh really? All I have to do is ask?"

She nodded and placed a hand on my chest, "Just ask"

"I'm gonna give you a head start to run, 5 seconds baby"

She looked at me shocked, "I wasn't gonna let you get away that easy, like you said, paybacks a bitch"

She unexpectedly punched me in the stomach and because I wasn't expecting it, it hurt more than I thought. I hunched over in pain and she laughed on the way out,

"That should buy me another 5 seconds!"

I smiled and shook of the pain before I starting running after her,

"Darius, what are you doing?"

"Sorry can't talk, busy!"

My mum laughed and as I was running after Sakari everyone came out of the halls and started smiling and laughing at the both of us,

"Keep running Sakari!"

She started laughing and I couldn't help but smile at her,

"I didn't do anything!"

I laughed and as soon as I got close to her, I wrapped my arms around her waist and spun her around which made her scream and laugh,

"Darius! Put me down!"

"Not until I get an apology"

I pulled her closer to my chest, "For what?"

"Leaving me hanging when I was oh so pleased"

"And what if I don't wanna apologise?"

I lifted her up and started spinning her around on the spot and she started to scream,

"Okay okay, I'll apologise!"

I stopped spinning her and I let her feet drop to the ground and twisted her around so that she was now facing me.

I raised an eyebrow at her, "Well, I'm waiting"

She smiled, "I'm sorry"

I smiled and gave her a peck on the lips, "I accept your apology"

"What would I of had to do if you didn't accept?"

"Well, you'll never have to know that, I love you too much to decline"

"Awwwww well thank you"

I looked at her confused, "For what exactly?"

"For taking my mind off of everything that's happening, for sticking by me and mainly just for loving me unconditionally"

"Well, you're welcome, you know what would let everyone know just how much I love you?"

She smiled and shook her head slightly, "No Darius, I know what you're going to say and it's just not going to happen right now"

I laughed, "We don't have to get married now, maybe in a couple months"

She looked at me shocked, "Couple months? Are you crazy? I mean, I love you Darius, I love you a lot but we are definitely not getting married in a couple months, planning a wedding takes time baby"

I sighed, "I know but I just want everyone to know that you're mine, wolf and human"

She smiled, "Well with how possessive you are, nobody will have any trouble knowing that I'm yours"

"I'm not possessive"

She laughed, "Yes you are, I mean I know you're an alpha and all but you are very possessive"

I let her words sink in, "I don't mean to be like that, honest, I just- it just happens"

"I didn't say that I didn't like how possessive you are, it's quite hot actually"

I chuckled, "Is that so?"

She nodded and leaned forward next to my ear, "Tell me I'm yours"

I could feel my eyes turn from how much lust I felt with how seductive she sounded,

"What do you want me to tell you?"

I just wanted to hear her sexy voice again, "I want you to tell me I'm yours"

I let out a low growl, "You're mine"

"Again"

"You're mine and only mine"

She grabbed my hair and forced my lips against hers but trust me, I was not going to turn down her offer so I immediately bit her bottom lip and she wasted no time in letting me in and quickly taking control of the kiss.

I heard the door burst open but I wasn't planning on pulling out of the kiss and by how things were going, neither was Sakari,

"Really guys? I barge into the room and you don't feel to stop kissing each other?"

Sakari smiled against my lips and just pulled me closer, deepening the kiss in the process,

"Guys!"

I chuckled against her lips and pulled away from her so that I could turn around to face Sharise to see that she was standing in the doorway smiling with Tyler,

"You interrupted us so why should we stop?"

"It's polite"

Sakari laughed, "Whatever, it's not my fault I like to kiss my hot alpha mate"

We all laughed, "Thank you for the compliment baby"

She smiled and was about to lean up and kiss me again,

"No!"

All of a sudden, Sharise grabbed Sakari by the wrist and pulled her away from me,

"No! Sharise! Let me kiss him!"

I laughed and looked at Sakari struggling to get out of Sharise's grip,

"Come on Sakari, stop struggling, I want to ask you something!"

Sakari stopped struggling and turned to face Sharise properly,

"What is it?"

"Can Tyler join the volunteers?"

Sakari looked at me and I shrugged and then she looked back at Sharise confused, 

"Is that his idea or yours?"

"His, trust me I don't want him to fight, I just got him and he wants to go and fight, he's an ass!"

Sharise slapped him upside the head and I laughed because that just reminded me of what Sakari did to me,

"Why do you want to fight Tyler?"

He looked at me, "Because I made an oath to serve my alpha and to give 100% to the pack"

I nodded, "I understand but that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to fight tonight"

"I want to fight"

"I'm actually going to leave this decision down to your girlfriend"

He scratched the back of his neck, "Yeah about that, she's not just my girlfriend, we're mates"

Me and Sakari looked at them shocked, "What? But you weren't even together! What the hell happened to keep you apart?!"

"I sort of rejected her"

I could feel Sakari's anger through our connection so I quickly walked over to her just as she was about to lunge for Tyler. 

I leant down next to her ear, "Calm down baby, he may have rejected her but they're together now and Sharise is happy, isn't that what you want?"

She sighed and nodded, "Yes"

I kissed the side of her head and she looked at Tyler, "Honestly Tyler, as much as I dislike you even more now, Sharise is happy so I will at least try to like you but I'm not going to allow you to fight tonight"

He looked at me shocked, "What, why?"

"Because by the looks of things Sharise doesn't want you to fight and it is in my best interest to keep her happy"

"I apologise now if what I say next offends you but you said yourself yesterday that you want to make all of your pack members happy, well by not letting me fight you're making one of your pack members unhappy"

"Yes and if I let you fight, Sharise will be unhappy and I'm sorry if you find this unfair but she is very important to me and she comes first"

Sharise smiled at her and Tyler nodded, "You really care about her don't you?"

She nodded, "Very much and I know there's a reason why and I'm going to find out about it"

He nodded and took Sharise's hand in his, "I guess I'll be down when Sharise comes"

"See you then"

They both smiled and walked out and I wrapped my arm around Sakari's waist,

"So, you wanna pick up where we left off?"

She laughed and hit my chest playfully, "Maybe later, I wanna speak to my dad first"

"About?"

"Why I feel connected to Sharise, I know he's hiding something and I'm going to find out what it is"

I nodded, "Let's go speak to your dad then"

"You better go and put on a shirt, I'm not going to allow you to parade around the house shirtless for every female wolf to see your body"

I smirked, "Don't worry baby, my body is for your eyes only"

She gave me a peck on the lips, "I would hope so. Can I use your study to talk to my dad?"

I nodded, "You don't have to ask, it's as much yours as it is mine, same goes with everything else"

She smiled, "Thank you, I love you"

"I love you more"

She shook her head, "Not possible"

I gave her another peck on the lips, "Very possible, I'll go put on a shirt and I'll meet you in the study"

She nodded and ran a hand over my chest and abs before winking at me and walking out of the lounge and I opened our mind link and sent her a message, 

'Tease'

I heard her laugh in my head, 'You love me anyway'

I smiled and shook my head before walking off to mine and Sakari's room so I could follow my mates wishes and put on a shirt.


Sakari's POV

I walked away from Darius and sent my dad a mind message,

'Dad, study, now'

'I'm still your father Sakari, remember that'

'I'm not in the mood right now dad, I'm still your alpha female, remember that, we have things that need to be discussed and we are not leaving the study today until I get some answers! Get there. Now!'

I angrily walked into the study and took a seat behind Darius' desk, waiting for my dad to walk into the room and as soon as he did I just kept my face blank as I stared at him,

"Close the door and take a seat"

He nodded and closed the door before taking a seat on the chair in front of me,

"What is it that you wanted to talk about baby girl?"

"Don't even call me that right now, you sit in front of me right now acting like you've done nothing wrong when you know damn well what you've done!"

He looked at me shocked, "I have no idea what you're talking about"

"So, you're going to deny the fact that you cheated on mum with Leila?"

"I- I, how did- How did you know that?"

I shook my head, "So it is true? You need to learn to mask your emotions a little better. As soon as I mentioned the sisterly connection between me and Sharise at dinner, you became anxious and looked straight at Leila, you practically gave yourself away"

"You can't tell your mother"

"Why is that?"

"It will break her heart, I can't bear to see her upset"

"But you can cheat on her without thinking twice and then play happy families?!! I can't believe you did that to her! She's your wife, no even worse, she's your mate!!"

He ran his hands through his hair, "I know, it was just a spur of the moment, I realised what I did after I did it!"

"Why? Why would you cheat on her?"

"I don't know! I just came here with Alastair when I was beta on business and I saw Leila and then one thing led to another!"

"But your own mate?! The mother of your kids?! You had 2 children and you still did what you did!!"

"It was a mistake!"

I felt a tear fall onto my hand and only at that moment did I realise that I was crying.

Darius walked into the room and closed the door behind him and as soon as he saw that I was crying, he looked at my dad and growled at him,

"What did you do to make my mate cry?"

He walked over to me and bent down to my level so that he could wipe away my tears before he turned back to face my dad,

"What did you do?! Answer me!"

I put a hand on his arm to calm him down and when he looked down at me I just shook my head to tell him to leave it and I gestured towards the seat next to me so he sat down and took my hand in his,

"Dad, I just want to ask you one question"

He nodded, "Go ahead"

"Is Sharise my sister?"

He sighed and nodded, "Yes she is, Leila called me when she found out she was pregnant and told me but I told her to get rid of it and she said no"

I looked at him shocked, "You asked her to get rid of your own child? What kind of man are you? I'm sorry dad but you made the idiotic mistake of cheating on mum with Leila and then you got her pregnant and you wanted her to get rid of your own child? It's disgusting!"

"I know! But I had a family, I couldn't risk that!"

"You have risked everything by me finding out! At least now I have answers about mine and Sharise's connection but that doesn't change the fact that you cheated on mum and had the audacity to walk past Sharise like she is not your daughter! She is still your flesh and blood!"

"I can't act like she's my daughter if your mother doesn't even know"

"Then I think it's time we change that"

He shook his head, "You can't tell her"

I narrowed my eyes at him, "If you don't tell her by the end of the month, I will"

"I can't see her get hurt"

"And I can't see her get lied to anymore, you will tell her and that's an order"

I used my alpha tone and he immediately obeyed and nodded,

"I can't even look at you right now, just leave"

"Saka-"

"Leave!"

He looked at me sadly and stood up and started to walk out but not before saying,

"I'm sorry"

I shook my head and just looked away from him and he walked out of the door and that is when I let all of my tears go and Darius lifted me onto his lap and I cried into his chest,

"Shhhhh baby, it's okay, everything's going to be okay"

"He-he cheated on my mum Darius, I-I can't believe he l-lied to us like that"

He started rubbing my back softly, "I know baby I know but you can't let this affect you, he's still your dad"

"He's been lying to us for the past 16 or so years! He had a mate and 2 kids and he had a child this whole time?"

"I know you're upset but we have to look to the bright side of this"

I looked up at Darius, "Which is?"

He wiped away my tears and smiled, "Sharise is your sister for sure, even though you loved her like one before, you can love her even more now that you're sisters"

I nodded, "I guess so but this is going to break my mums heart"

"It's better for her to have a broken heart at the truth than for her to be living a lie"

"You're right, I can't stand by and watch my dad lie to her anymore, I won't allow it"

"Do you wish your dad never made the mistake then?"

"I do but then I don't because what he did was wrong but then I wouldn't have Sharise as my sister"

He nodded, "I understand but this could affect your family big time"

I sighed, "If your dad cheated on your mum, had a child and hid it from her for the next 16 years and you found out, would you tell her?"

He nodded, "I love my mum to death, call me a mummy's boy I don't care but yes, I would tell her"

"Exactly, I love my mum as well so I have to make sure she knows the truth and I think it's cute how much you love your mum"

"People might say I'm a bit of a pussy for loving my mum like I do, especially because I'm alpha"

"Who gives a shit what anyone else thinks? You love your mum, that doesn't make you any less of a man for it, want me to beat them up for you?"

He chuckled, "And ruin my image? No thank you"

I laughed, "What image?"

"Ha ha, very funny baby, I'm alpha, I need to maintain the reputation that I've built"

I raised an eyebrow at him, "And me beating up a bunch of guys will affect that?"

He shook his head, "No, you beating up a bunch of guys for calling me a pussy will affect that, badly"

I smiled, "Well when you put it like that, I get where you're coming from"

He laughed, "Exactly but thank you for offering"

I gave him a peck on the lips, "You're welcome and since we're on the subject of sisters, where's yours?"

He shrugged, "I have no idea, I haven't seen her in about 2 or 3 days, I'm hoping she decided to leave the pack house"

"You really hate her don't you?"

"I don't hate her, she hates me so I just go along with it"

"Why don't you try and talk to her?"

He let out a low growl, "She'd rather die first than try and resolve things, that's how much she hates me"

I placed a hand on his chest, "I'm sorry"

He looked at me confused, "Why are you sorry? It's not your fault my sister hates me"

"I know but you didn't do anything and she's thrown away a perfectly good relationship between the both of you"

He shrugged, "I don't really care anymore, she's never going to forgive me so why try"

"She's your sister"

"I don't need her, I have you" He gave me a peck on the lips and smiled, "You're all I need"

I smiled and gave him another peck on the lips, "I love you"

"I love you too"

I got up from his lap and grabbed his hand so I could pull him up from the chair,

"Where are we going?"

"I want to tell Sharise the good news"

He groaned as I continued to drag him towards the lounge,

"Can't I just spend time with you? We never have any time for ourselves"

"We will, later"

He stopped walking and pulled me back so that my back was against his chest,

"Promise?"

"I promise, now let me go"

I started to try and get out of his grasp but he just let out a low growl and pulled me closer,

"Keep moving against me like that and I will make love to you against this wall"

I smirked, "Oh, do you not like it when I do that?"

I started moving against him again and he immediately pinned me against the wall and looked at me with lust in his eyes,

"You're walking on thin ice Sakari"

His voice sounded so seductive and I couldn't stop my hand from moving down into his jeans and I looked into his eyes,

"Low enough?"

"Go any lower and I won't be able to control my wolf any longer"

I started to move my hand a bit lower when all of a sudden Sharise called my name and I took my hand out of his jeans,

"Maybe later"

I started to lean forward to move away when he just growled and pinned me back against the wall,

"There's no 'maybe' about it, I will have you"

I smirked and ran a hand up his shirt, "I'll hold you too that"

I gave him a peck on the lips and he moved away so that I could walk in front of him and he grabbed my hand and started walking with me.

We walked into the lounge to see Sharise, Leila, my mum and my dad and I automatically knew what happened,

"He told you"

My mum nodded, "You ordered him too"

"I said he had till the end of the month not the end of the hour!"

"Why does it matter? You told him to tell me and he did"

I sighed and Darius rubbed my back for comfort,

"Well? Now that you know, what's going to happen?"

"Nothing, he's my mate and it was only one time"

I looked at her shocked, "You're okay with it?"

"I never said that, I just said I'm not going to do anything"

"So, are you going to treat Sharise as your daughter?"

"She's not mine"

I narrowed my eyes, "That may be the case but she is still dad's daughter"

"It's fine Sakari, if they don't want to treat me like family, don't force them"

I shook my head, "No Sharise, it's unfair, your my fucking sister!"

"Watch your mouth Sakari"

"Oh fuck you!"

"Don't talk to your father like that"

"Please, he lost that title when he refused to treat Sharise as one of his own, no father turns down their own child"

"Apologise"

I snorted, "You want me to apologise? He's the lying cheater!"

Leila sighed, "Look, I'm just as responsible as he is"

"Did you know he had 2 kids?"

She shook her head, "Not until after"

"Then you're not responsible, you know what? Fuck this, Sharise let's go"

"Go where?"

"Anywhere but this damn room!"

I started to walk out when I heard my dad shout out,

"Don't you dare walk out of the door Sakari, get your ass back here now!"

Darius let out a loud growl which made nearly everyone in the room flinch,

"Don't you ever speak to her like that again, I think you seem to have forgotten that she is your alpha female, treat her as such! You do not give orders to her, she gives them to you, father or not!! Have I made myself clear?!"

"Yes alpha"

"Good"

He came over and wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked out of the lounge and into the conservatory so we could all sit down,

"Well, at least we're definitely sisters"

I smiled and shook my head, "Thank heavens, that is the only good thing that has come out of my dads actions"

"I always wondered who my dad was" She muttered and I looked at her curiously,

"What did your mum tell you?"

"She just said how it was a guy she had one night with"

I shook my head, "This whole time he had a daughter but what happened to your mums mate?"

"Oh, she said he died before I was born, they found each other quite young"

"My dad probably comforted her for a night then left her heart broken again, I can't believe him"

"I mean, I don't really mind not having a dad, I'm used to it now but at least I know who it is"

I ran my hand through my hair, "Shakir is going to have a bloody fit when he hears this"

Darius looked at me confused, "Why?"

"Shakir is a mummy's boy hands down and he doesn't really get along with my dad so when he hears he cheated on her, he'll probably beat him up, no doubt about it"

"Who's older? You or Shakir?"

"Shakir by only 2 minutes but he never lets me forget it"

She smiled, "I always thought you were older"

"I act more mature than him, I grew up quicker because I had to"

She nodded and spaced out and I focused on her facial expressions. Usually when you space out you get a far away look on your face but she seemed to be having a bit of a debate with herself because her expressions kept varying from confused to calm then to guilty and many more,

'Darius, do you know the name of the drug Lukas gave Sharise?'

'No, why?'

'Do you know the symptoms?'

'Well yeah, there isn't actually a name for that particular drug but that's the only one that blocks the mind link, it also prevents shifting and communication with your wolf'

I furrowed my eyebrows. That makes no sense, if she was drugged, she can't be talking to her wolf and her mind link is blocked right now and I know she isn't just having a conflict in her head so what the hell is going on?

"Sharise?"

She didn't reply so I tried again, "Sharise?"

Nothing. I stood up and clicked my fingers in front of her face and she seemed to snap out of a trance before looking at me,

"Sorry, I kind of drifted off there"

"Mmhmm, Sharise, what's going on?"

She looked at me confused, "What? Nothing"

"Don't lie to me Sharise, you seemed to be deep in thought just then but the question is with who?"

"How can I be in thought with anyone, my mind link is messed up"

"I swear to God that if I find out you're lying to me about this, I won't be happy"

"I swear Sakari, nothing is going on"

I searched her eyes for any hint of a lie but they were just blank so I sighed,

"Okay fine, I think I'm just paranoid and stressed about tonight"

"So you go accusing me of lying?"

"Sharise, I'm sorry"

She shook her head, "Whatever, some sister you are"

She stood up and walked out and I punched one of the windows out of frustration making it smash to pieces,

"Are you going to pay for that?"

"Fuck you"

I turned to face Darius to see him with his hands up in surrender,

"Don't take this out on me Sakari"

I narrowed my eyes at him, "Don't patronize me"

He sighed and stood up so that he could walk towards me and he took my hand in his,

"We should get you cleaned up"

I looked at my hand and to see that it was bleeding and I had tiny shards of glass in my knuckles, just what I needed!

"Come on"

I let him drag me towards the bathroom where he locked the door and sat me down on the edge of the bath while he got out the first aid kit and took out small tweezers. We kind of had to get the glass out before I start to heal because then the glass would just get stuck.

He took each shard of glass out individually and each time I flinched a little because they were in there quite deep. After a few minutes my hand healed and I stretched it out a bit before Darius wiped the blood off my hand.

Darius put the first aid kit back and started to walk out the bathroom but I grabbed his wrist and stood up in front of him,

"I'm sorry"

He didn't say anything so I wrapped my arms around his neck,

"Please baby, I didn't mean to get angry, speak to me please"

"I was just trying to make you feel better"

"I know, I shouldn't have took my anger out of you, don't be mad at me"

He sighed and looked into my eyes,

"I'm not mad baby, I'm just a bit upset"

'Good going, you got our mate upset'

'Shut up would you, I'm trying to fix it'

'You better'

I blocked out my wolf and focused on Darius again,

"I really am sorry, I didn't mean to get you upset, I feel horrible, forgive me?"

"I don't know"

I felt tears well up in my eyes, "Please Darius, I promise I'll make it up to you, I can't bear you being upset with me!"

"No, don't cry, please don't cry"

He wiped away the tears that fell from my eyes and leant his forehead against mine,

"I forgive you okay? I'm sorry for making you cry"

I shook my head, "I'm sorry for getting angry"

He smiled and leaned forward to press his lips against mine and I gently bit his bottom lip to which he immediately responded to. I let my tongue meet his and I didn't even hesitate to let him take control of the kiss, I just wanted him to be happy.

He pulled away from me and pecked my lips once, then twice,

"I love you"

"I love you too and I'm sor-"

He cut me off by pressing his lips to mine again shortly,

"Let's forget about it okay?"

I nodded, "Okay, I'll pay for the window though"

He shook his head, "There's no way I'm going to let you pay for that, I'll pay"

"No, that's unfair, I broke it so I'll pay for it"

"Your my mate, you're not paying for it, end of story, do you hear me?"

I looked down but he tilted my head up to look back at his,

"I said do you hear me?"

I nodded, "I hear you"

"Good, while you’re with me I won't allow you to spend your own money"

"Why not?"

"Because I'm supposed to take care of you, so from now on it's either my credit card or no credit card, understand?"

I nodded and he smiled, "Good, do you want to see my armoury?"

I looked at him shocked, "You have one of those?"

He chuckled, "Every pack has one"

"Yeah, can I see it"

"Of course"

He led me towards the stairs and we climbed up to the fourth floor and walked to the last door at the end of the hallway. He took his chain out from under his shirt and use the key that was attached to unlock the door... Huh, I never noticed that chain before.

He opened the door and I saw another flight of swirly stairs so we climbed to the top and came to a metal door,

"30cm stainless steel, voice recognition lock, only opens to my voice"

"What's the code?"

He cleared his throat and started to speak,

"To love and protect ones pack,
To save and restore what's present,
Open this armoury door once more,
To reveal the weapons I treasure"

"Voice recognised, hello alpha Darius, please state who is with you"

He looked at me and my mouth was just open in shock and he smiled before answering,

"Sakari Cascella, alpha female"

"Recognised"

I heard a few locks and bolts being opened from the inside and the door opened. We both walked in,

"For safety, the doors locks us in, is that okay?"

I nodded still in shock and the door shut and locked us in and I just looked around the room in awe,

"Wow"

He chuckled, "Took me a while to get all of these weapons but I did"

Throughout the room from what I could see, he had about 35 different knives, 12 pistols which come in pairs, 4 shot guns, 20 other ranges of guns, 8 nun chucks, 5 crossbows, 8 normal bows with up to 25 arrows each and many more that I can't really name,

"Wow"

He laughed, "Is that all you can say right now?"

"I'm just in shock, I'm never been surrounded by so many dangerous items"

"They're only dangerous in the wrong hands and this armoury only opens to my voice so no one can get their hands on these"

I nodded, "That's reassuring at least, does everyone know about this?"

He shook my head, "Just me, you, my beta, Rhylie since he was my beta and the pack fighters"

"Are they going to be using this tonight?"

He shrugged, "If they feel the need to then yes, they have a choice"

I nodded, "I feel weird, can we get out of here"

He nodded, "If you want to"

"Unlock and open!"

The door unlocked and opened and we walked out,

"Goodbye alpha"

The door shut itself and he made sure to put it back to its original state,

"Reset! Original order!"

"Resetted back to original"

He took my hand and led me back down the stairs and when we got to the bottom he took out his chain again and locked the door before turning to face me,
