Sakari’s POV

He cannot be serious! I can’t believe he is making Darius choose between me and his mum! He’ll never be able to choose,

“You must be joking”

Lukas looked at Darius with a blank face, “Does it look like I’m joking? This isn’t a game Darius, either you choose or I choose for you”

Darius growled, “You can’t do this!”

Lukas walked up to me and placed his hand on my cheek which made me close my eyes in not only disgust but in fear as well,

“I can do whatever I like, at the moment, I have all the power, not you”

He smirked and leant forward towards me and pressed his lips against mine and because I wasn’t expecting it, I kicked him in the leg which made him groan and look at me with pure rage in his eyes,

“Apologise”

I gained some courage and narrowed me eyes at him, “Or what Lukas? You want me don’t you? You wouldn’t dare kill me”

He smirked; “Probably not” He walked to Sadie and grabbed a strand of her hair in his hand,

“But I could kill her”

He ran the gun across her face and her face just paled even more,

“Don’t touch her! It’s me you want not her”

He shook his head, “Tut tut tut Sakari, do you not know me at all? I’m not one to play fair and I always get what I’m after, isn’t that right Sharise?”

I looked at Sharise to see her nod her head, “Yes alpha”

Alpha?! So that’s why she has no mind link, because she changed fucking packs! My own sister!

“Anyway, back to my question” He turned to face Darius and put one hand towards me and the other towards Sadie, “Your mum or your mate? I haven’t got all day”

Darius looked torn between me and Sadie like he was fighting a battle inside his head even though he no longer had communication with his wolf. He sighed before looking down with watery eyes,

“I can’t choose”

“Well I’m just going to have to choose for you then”

He pointed the gun at me, then at Sadie, “Eenie meenie miney mo-“

I blanked him out and only caught the last bit of his sentence,

“Eenie meenie miney mo”

I opened my eyes suddenly realizing that I closed them unconsciously to see the gun pointed at Sadie and I felt tears rush down my face.

“The choice has been made”

He took the safety off and smirked and was just about to pull the trigger when Darius shouted out,

“No please! I’ll do anything! I’ll even give up my alpha title!”

Me and Sadie gasped in shock but Lukas just shook his head,
