Nikki's POV
It was bright and sunny. I was so excited today was my birthday and today I would be leaving senior year for College.
I woke up to find that Leon wasn't by my side. I got up and as usual I didn't duck when I was getting out.
I woke up to the smell of tropical rainforest on this island .Two years ago when we got ship wrecked on this Island we thought there was no hope.
This Island was rich in, fruits veggies and plantation.
It was hard to get meat cause there was no game here, so we both became vegetarians
We eat in leaves,we hardly ever eat the mars and Snickers my mom packed in my suitcase
Only on special occasions like birthdays, sugar night, Christmas and new year, there were 24mars bars, 24 Snickers =48 in all.
We only have twelve left.
I and Leo love each other but can't express our love cause we are shy.
We really fight like couples do,
Once there was a baby snake struggling in a thorn bush, I said we should help it but Leon said no.
I said we could , I argued with him till he gave in but that if anything happens he is not in with me.
I picked up the snake with Shakey hands it was cold and it crawled round my hand.
Just in that moment,a funny noise came from the bush beside me then from the bush beside me ,a huge cobra pounced out, to my surprise I think didn't get near me.
Suddenly a big stick hit it hard on the neck,it was Leo. I dropped the baby snake and ran for my life.
It was shocking the snake didn't chase us , maybe it wanted it'sbaby
He gave me a I -knew-this- was -going-to -happen look.
Later today
I and Leon(Luke)
were enjoying the weather when we heard a chopper.
